We arrived late on Friday, after picking up my wife from the airport, but the reception staff were ready and waiting and when we decided to go to the bar for a nightcap, the bar staff were friendly and not rushed at all, even with only hand an hour till closing. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Legacy Rose and Crown. The hotel staff at the front desk were really pleasant and helpful. Dinner was delicious with a lovely view of the river at sunset. Breakfast was quite good, with both hot and cold options, however the coffee could have been hotter. The location is a short, pretty walk from Salisbury Cathedral. "

"The staff was awesome! We arrived late and did self check in it was simple. We left our luggage there the next morning because we had 6:30 am tickets for Stonehenge and they took care of it. The hotel is across the street from the train station and walking distance to all of Salisbury. We would stay there again. "

"Cute cottage, not for anyone mobility challenged. Very hot bedroom, didn't sleep much because of that (need lighter weight duvets), shame as otherwise lovely room & very quiet. Lovely to eat supper overlooking the field of sheep and lambs. Food was average. Pub chairs could be more comfy. Breakfast rather small (a full english was one mushroom, 1 small sausage, 1/2 tomato, scrambled egg & 2 very crispy bits of bacon. Had to request toast. Cold option was lovely but limited, juice, granola,...
