Fantastic Stay!
The most beautiful spot right on the lake. Every single amenity available inside the unit from great A/C to washer and dryer. The only slight negative would be the comfort level of the bed but otherwise a perfect 10!

VRBO on the lake.
What a beautiful setting on Tuc el Nuit Lake in Oliver. The rental unit was the most well equipped we have ever rented. Almost better than home. It was very comfortable for two people. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would love to return.

Hidden Gem
The location and lakefront were perfect for a mix of bike touring, wine tasting and relaxation. Hosts Mary and Chuck couldn't have been more accommodating. We really enjoyed it!

There is nothing missing on this property. Kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels, a/c, outdoor Activities, etc. Lovely views and swimming too!!

Tuclenuit Inn is on the lake and it is beautiful!
This is a great property on the lake. It has a good full size kitchen and lots of food items to choose from, for making your own breakfast, which was a great add-on. Kayaks and paddleboards were used- so nice. To sit in the morning and/or the evening down at the water is so so peaceful. Loved it. There is not really anywhere to walk tho, as it is a busy fast road with no sidewalks. We went for a 6 km run in and around Oliver, and it was a bit crazy on some of the corners. there is a great walking, cycling path in town that a local pointed out to us. it is great! but further away from this vrbo. Room has living area, one bedroom, kitchen and full bathroom. The furnishings, sheets, towels, etc, are quite dated, and the bed was just ok for comfort, but everything is tidy and in good working order.

Beautiful property with great amenities! Even a table set up close to the lake to enjoy a morning coffee while taking in the view! An extremely well-stocked kitchen made our stay even better. Overall a fantastic property.

Great stay
This place had everything I needed and more. Very well appointed suite, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable; there was plenty of towels and breakfast options. Relaxing by the lake with a morning cup of coffee was a great way to start the day. Mary and Chuck are great hosts. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location...with a few unexpected encounters
The unit has everything you need away from home and has a beautiful view of the lake. Owners are super friendly and helpful if you need anything. On arrival a lovely note and bottle of wine were left for us which was very sweet. The air conditioning was a saviour during the 40 degree heat wave! That being said, it was not as clean as we are used to, coffee pot was dirty along with some dishes we went to use, shower curtain liner, cutting boards and scrub brush could stand to be changed. As nice as it is to be by the water the lake is stinky at times and the bottom feels like sludge on your feet. Not the owners fault, but would be good to know before renting. Also we saw 2 small water snakes, but that worried me more than my husband. Not as much privacy as we would have liked (especially during a pandemic) as the walkway to get to the lake was right next to the unit and used by many guests with one even finding their way onto our patio. The rental units patio space has a trellis that separates you from the main house patio, so absolutely no privacy, with all the guests staring at us as we cooked one night and talking and laughing so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves speak to each other on our patio and had to head inside to eat. We were able to social distance on the lawn by the lake and that was appreciated. The neighbours have a very loud air conditioning unit that runs what felt like 24/7, so your outside space is not serene and relaxing. Having rented many VRBO’s in the past, having a space that is quiet is super important for us to escape from our jobs and this is something we have valued and found in all of our previous rentals. The location of the unit is close to many delicious wineries, which we took advantage of. Overall an ok rental property as long as you know what to expect.

Fantastic experience!
What an amazing location! The unit itself is excellent: well-appointed, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils one would need to cook there, and a BBQ grill is provided. Located on the lake, there's a beautiful willow tree and landscaped yard a few steps from the back door. I took advantage of the kayak and lifejacket provided to do an evening paddle, and it was terrific. The owners also provide a "self-serve breakfast", which undersells the variety of options available: cereals, fruits, bacon, hash browns, pancake mix, milk, etc. The owners were gracious enough to ask about my own dietary needs and were very accommodating. Without a doubt, this will be my go-to location when I'm in the region. Completely recommended!

Beautiful comfort on the lake!
We felt so pampered! Beautiful views, swimming and kayaking, ample breakfast options, comfortable beds -- our hosts thought of everything. Better than the photos, we had ample space and privacy and the fully stocked kitchen was a real treat. Great location to be, highly recommended.

Cozy little suite by the lake!
Lovely place by the lake with great hosts. There are probably 40 wineries within a 30 min drive so this location makes a great home base to explorer the area. Highly recommended.

Perfect Getaway
We had a wonderful couple of days at Tucinn. Mary was such a welcoming host and the property was what we hoped for and more. On the water in a quiet nook in Oliver that was simultaneously close to town but removed as well. We will stay again!

Well-appointed, large, clean & comfortable suite with private patio facing the lake.
We had a great stay for two nights. Mary & Chuck were friendly and unobtrusive. They provided fresh fruit (including fantastic blueberries,) toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, hash browns, cereal, milk, etc... I swam in the lake every day and enjoyed a few bottles of wine on our private patio. It is a fantastic place to base yourself for some wine touring. The suite was large, clean, comfortable, private & air-conditioned. Highly recommended.

Clean and comfortable condo with wonderful view and access to the lake.
We had a fantastic stay at Mary and Chuck's Tucinn in Oliver. The 1 bedroom suite was very well equipped with everything one needs to have an enjoyable stay. The access to the lake and the thoughtfulness of Chuck and Mary allowed us to enjoy the water in the hot heat. Mary and Chuck offered us 'floaties', kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy while we stayed. Enough can't be said about the wonderful host and the lovely space they offer. Thank you!

Fantastic Property!
What a perfect place to stay while spending time in Wine Country. The location is fantastic and very easy to get to. The suite is incredible. It is fully stocked; has anything you could possible want or need. The patio directly outside the suite is beautiful. You get breath taking views of the lake, perfect spot to have morning coffee and a glass of wine at the end of the day. I am excited to plan our next trip to BC and am hoping we can stay here again. Thank you so much for an incredible stay.

Fantastic! Beautifully Amazing!
Location Is perfect! Easy to get to/find, great parking. Suite was fully stocked with everything you need to feel like you are at home, just bring food. Quiet, and very clean. Comfortable bed, with plenty of pillows! (I like lots of pillows). Great bathroom with big tub/shower. Fantastic covered patio for morning coffee, and evening wine. The views in the morning and evening are awesome. We will be frequent guests for many years to come.

Breathtaking!
Chuck and Mary have thought of everything and they are the friendliest of hosts. We felt at home and we hadn't even unpacked yet! The suite is spotless and Mary has thought of everything for a self-serve breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding around the quiet and serene lake and then coming back for a full breakfast on the deck. An absolute gem!
I have never written a review for a vrbo property - and we have stayed at several - but I just have to sing the praises of this one. I almost didn't book at TucInn because the bed is only a queen, and being 5'10" and 6'2" we generally like a king bed. The bed was a bit small for us, but I would stay here again because everything else is simply marvelous. Having the fridge and cupboards stocked with everything you could want for breakfast was so incredibly wonderful as a start. After a 9 hour drive we really appreciated not having to get groceries first thing. We didn't cook meals other than breakfast but from what I saw the kitchen had everything you would need for making most meals in terms of dishes, pots / pans, utensils etc. Even a cheese grater! The photos don't do justice to the quality of furniture and niceness of the decor. The entire apartment is comfortable and so well thought out. The bath and swim towels are large and fluffy soft. After riding our bikes around to wineries in the heat, it was heaven to come "home" and jump in the beautiful clear water of the lake. The huge weeping willow provides welcome shade in the afternoon. We ate suppers on the comfortable patio and looked out over the lake (Best of India restaurant had great takeout) and after dark we sat by the shore and sipped our wine find of the day as we watched the stars come out and the lights on the water. Thank you Chuck and Mary for sharing your piece of paradise with us, for being gracious hosts and running such a great establishment. We hope to be back next summer!
