The host was very accommodating about our arrival as she was on site. She greeted us with fresh eggs ( from her chickens), bread, milk, homemade jams and juice. It was so nice to arrive to those things. The accommodation was just what we expected, and as we were visiting in early May, it was lovely to have the wood stove ( easy to light) to warm us up after a day of exploring in the cold drizzle.
We could look out at the views and see horses and geese wandering by, or a tractor. Hot water in the downstairs bath tub was iffy, but did not detract from our enjoyment! We loved this place.
