"We had a great stay at the settlers cabin! Great location in the woods and the bed was very comfortable. It had everything we needed including firewood. We watched a movie at the theatre and it was like being in an AMC. Host was a great communicator. Highly recommend!"

"The view was truly stunning, and the location was incredible. Kelley was kind, understanding, and extremely communicative when we had a car breakdown and needed some flexibility on the check-out time. She even offered some help! She made a stressful situation much, much easier. "

During our visit, the elevator developed a malfunction, but our host communicated with us about it and kept us up-to-date as it was being repaired.. This downtown condo is perfectly located to enjoy all the downtown as to offer. Can’t wait to go back."

"Loved fenced in yard for pups, cute space, REALLY cold in the house this time of year, comfy beds, No working TV in master, no dishwasher pods. Would stay again! "

"We (a party of 14, ages ranging from 10 to 86 years old) enjoyed our NYE stay on Black Mountain. Place was super clean and so roomy! Kitchens had everything we needed. Kelley was a great host and answered all our questions before and while we were there! My parents are still talking about how perfect the house was! I will say the driveway is very steep. Most of the vehicles were unable to make the climb up the drive. Luckily the road isn't busy so we parked below and walked up. ...

"We had a wonderful stay at this property - modern, architecturally-designed interiors - very comfortable, well-appointed, especially a terrific bed. Property management is top notch, Important note: this home has three levels - and natural stone steps up to the front door. Need to be sure-footed and able to do stairs."

"We arrived in a very windy winter storm, the host called on our way to make sure we were aware of when the road would no longer be salted/city maintained. We made it in fine. The cabin was very quaint and quite cozy. The WiFi was down due to the storm but that just made it all the better as we were looking for a getaway from it all. We saw 5 deer in the pasture in front of cabin. The hot tub was excellent. Ample space heaters to supplement the split unit. Everything we needed to prepare...

"Lake lure took a big hit to the storm. But this cabin had all we needed to keep us occupied during our stay. Restaurants and some shops are open. Loved how everyone is so open to helping each other. House was so lovely, owner was very accommodating. Anytime I had a question. I texted him personally. He responded very quickly. I highly recommend this house. We will come back."
