Welcome to this vintage home built in 1926 in the historic OKC Gatewood neighborhood. A perfect location to all the local attractions in Oklahoma City. Walking distance to the popular Plaza District and the Lyric Theater. Less than a five minute drive to the Paseo Arts District and the eclectic Uptown dining options on NW 23rd street all the way to the State Capitol. Only ten minutes from Paycom Arena, OU Med Center and downtown Oklahoma City. Two blocks from Oklahoma City University.

Nice Stay in OKC
When I arrived the owner was quick to contact me and walk me through the house over the phone. He was very accommodating, wanting to make our stay the best it could possibly be.The house is very well kept up. It was clean. The owner obviously takes very good care for the property. The neighborhood, though older, feels safe. I think many investors and owners in the area see the potential for this neighborhood and are actively seeking to fix up these older homes so that they could be enjoyed for many years to come. Thanks for the pleasant stay.

Amazing home. Amazing Host.
This home looks exactly like the pictures. It is bigger than expected and was the best experience and place we have stayed in the city. Monte made sure we had everything we needed and the home is obviously well maintained. Plenty of food options and grocery stores in the neighborhood and some cool restaurants to walk to for brunch or a quick bite. We will definitely be back.

Lovely home in a convenient location!
I was drawn to this home because I love all things vintage, and because it’s located near the fairgrounds where my family had an event to attend. The house is beautiful and well maintained, and has everything you need from kitchen supplies to extra toiletries in the bathroom. The neighborhood feels safe and quiet. Monte was very communicative and helpful; he even gave me tips for driving around the area. If you enjoy wine, the hosts provide a complimentary bottle. There is a Walmart Neighborhood Market nearby, and it’s just a short drive to the Penn Square mall. My family greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Everything about our stay was great! The house is lovely. Beautifully decorated. Located in a very nice neighborhood. It is completely furnished with with anything you might need. Communication with Jan and Monte was great. If you're headed to OKC I HIGHLY recommend booking a stay at Jan and Monte's house!

Charming, quiet and roomy
My son and I stayed at this home in historic Gatewood Sept 27-30th. Our stay was out of necessity instead of pleasure, as we needed to be close to the OU medical center, but we found it to be very comfortable and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed how quiet the back bedroom was because I could go to bed and sleep while my son stayed up and played video games in the tv room. The neighborhood is adorable, in a great location, and we felt very safe. I’m sure most people don’t cook much in vacation rentals, but I did cook some and found everything I needed except a cutting board. We appreciated the bottled water and Keurig cups provided for the coffee machine. Monte responded within minutes to all of my texts and was extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming historic home
This quaint home has been equipped with everything you can possibly need and many extras. It was immaculate; the beds are comfortable, the kitchen was great, the water is hot. Monte was wonderful- we had to call him and he was efficient and very helpful. We highly recommend this accommodation. It even has plants!!!!

LOVELY Home in OKC
My college-aged daughter and I enjoyed this lovely 1920s era home for two nights. Our family frequently travels, and we always attempt to stay in private residences. This charming home is among our top 5 places in which we've had the privilege to stay. It maintains its lovely historical architecture but has all the modern comforts. Cleanliness and safety are our two priorities, and this home did NOT disappoint. The home was very clean, well appointed, comfortable, and safe. Throughout the home there are well tended live plants. This beautiful touch adds to the feeling that you are truly enjoying a home and not just a place to lay your head during a stop along the road. I was also delighted that Monte called to check in on us and offer some tips about the home and the area. He was extremely cordial and his effort to make us feel at home was most welcomed. We would not hesitate to stay again and if our travels take us to OKC in the future, this is far and away the home in which we would hope to stay.

We had the best experience staying at this property. First, the location is great. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very short Uber to everything else in the city. The home is in a beautiful, quaint neighborhood. Felt very safe and secure. Tons of space, well maintained and a BEAUTIFUL historic home. Beds were comfortable and clean, full kitchen with everything you could need. The host was wonderful, responsive, salt of the earth and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. If we make it back to OK, we will undoubtedly be staying here!! Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us.

This property is in the prime location in OKC. The house is lovely, very vintage, and had a beautiful neighborhood that it was nestled in. The beds were very very comfortable as well. Plaza district and Paseo Art district bisit
The house was an easy walk to the Plaza district where we found fun shops and great places to eat. We also drive to the Paseo and enjoyed a couple of days listening to live music and eating great food. This home was clean and cozy! So quiet, we didn’t hear car traffic at all. I would recommend this sweet place to anyone. And there are 3 bedrooms so what a good deal.
