"The Buffalo Lake Cabin was a perfect place for a fall getaway. The house was warm and cozy and the outside air was crisp and clean. We enjoyed the fall colors and the lake views. Our lab enjoyed playing fetch in the lake and we enjoyed watching his antics. The cabin had everything we needed. Thank you!"

"We had a wonderful time. Place was perfect for us. It was our 30th year of getting together. All in our 70’s. Five of us so having 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked great. Oven was not clean so just wanted you to know it wasn’t our group! Would definitely recommend and we will return!"

"Stay was very nice, place was clean, cozy. We thought we were on the lake, but it was on a nearby street. Check in was really difficult, the indicated the lockbox was on the side door, there was no lockbox on the cabin only on the garage door. We had to call owner with no luck, we then emailed them. There indeed was no lockbox on the door the is an electric code built into the lock on the side door, you can’t see it unless u tap it to light up. After 20 mins of searching and fiddling around...

"We had a fabulous time on our girls weekend at this beautiful property. The accommodations are fantastic and no detail has been overlooked. The location can’t be beat as it’s across the street from the beach and walking distance to bars, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. They even go the extra mile and offer reading glasses for guest use!"

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The last time was about 2 years ago. The owners added a better summer heating & cooling unit. Normally you would think we would have needed the air conditioning, but needed the heat instead. Really enjoyed our stay and will come here again."

"There was plenty of room for our 4 family groups. The teens had fun learning to play pool. Spent time on the dock fishing and 2 nights having a bon fire. Close enough to hit the beach in Detroit Lakes. The kids stayed up late to watch movies and we did not hear a thing from our bedrooms. Good vacation."

"This cottage was a great place to relax and spend time as a family. My son loved getting to walk the short distance to the dock to fish as much as he wanted to. We rented a boat from in town and Lake Sallie was perfect for tubbing and fishing from the boat. The cottage had everything we needed to cook our meals. Having culligan water was a nice bonus. The bedrooms were on the cozy side. But there was plenty of space in the public areas for our family to gather. The kitchen has a nice size table...

"Clean, Good front desk staff , nice pool perfect temperature for swimming. There seems to be a shortage of staff in the restaurant. It takes awhile to be seated. Other staff when noticing people waiting pinched in to help which was nice. (staff that normally don't work in the restaurant) Good job covering for one another! "
