"This was a beautiful house, at a lovely location. We are a 3 generation family, who found so much to do during our week here...swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, yard games, and watching the big ships! The amenities were many, but I have to say the kitchen was the best! We thoroughly enjoyed making new memories here."

"Girls trip...3 elder sisters plus second generation niece and her 2 daughters. We all agreed everything was perfect at this location. From bedroom choices to outside porches to full kitchen amenities everything we needed was at our fingertips. Location couldn't have been better. View of the St Lawrence, glimpses of ships traveling in the distance, perfect weather and wonderful flat hiking right in the neighborhood. "Everything from finding the place, to check in, to proximity to activities was great! We didn’t need anything from the hosts during our stay but they were very responsive before hand! The place was great for hanging out during the time we spent inside. Beds were not the most comfortable, and you have to take every piece of garbage with you when you leave which was hard since we were coming from out of town, but we made it work! We had a wonderful time and would return. "

"Trout Lake has been an annual summer trip for us for the last 7 years and this house is our favorite rental by far. The cottage is cozy, but well appointed. We love the extensive waterfront in this beautiful cove and spend most of our time on the pontoon, in kayaks, hanging out on the dock or in the game room, and playing in the beautifully clear water. "We had a great time staying at the house. The upstairs had three bedrooms, a beautiful living room, kitchen and dining room and a bath and a half. The downstairs a master with a bathroom another bedroom, plus there was a bedroom in front of h the living. " The house was very spacious and comfortable; beds were great. Dining table as well as 4 stool bar in a large kitchen. & large living room, tv., etc. Yard area is large and beautifully maintained with a patio, large table/chairs and bbq. We also could park in the garage. Owner was very nice and very helpful if we needed anything. However, we really missed wi-fi as we use internet a lot wen traveling so went to local restaurants to get connected. Enjoyed seeing all the sites in the area...

"So happy we chose this rental. We brought our own boat from VA. The marina is literally next door, opposite canal side from row of boathouse. The elevator/lift made bringing in luggage a breeze- carts available too. Close walk to town and on quiet street. Super comfortable furnishings, clean and fresh rooms towels linens, nautical touches throughout you really feel immersed in ‘The River’ life. "Everything was excellent. The breakfast was hot and fresh daily. The Restaurant is outstanding. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the room was magnificent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I slept soundly and woke up refreshed. The only thing was that on check in, the young man didn’t seem to know that they provided bottles of water in the room. He sent us up the highway to buy some. Enjoyed our stay immensely. I wish we could bring our little dogs though...
