"Needing a last-minute overnight stay, we booked this property and honestly weren't expecting much. However, from the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the pristine condition and how well cared for everything was. Our host, Marie, is an absolute gem – her hospitality was outstanding, and we especially enjoyed her delicious homemade breakfast. Accommodating hosts and although we had a flight to catch the later check out than other places is a fantastic touch! Thoroughly enjoyed the space as a base while we explored the Mount."

"From the moment you drive down the driveway you know you are in for the biggest treat. Beautifully crafted stand alone units with high end attention to detail will delight any visitor. It’s the wonderful hosts Graeme and Lisa that complete an all together wonderful stay. Ahuru Lodge has been created with every travellers detail in mind see the cinema….Our breakfast was excellent and so spoilt with Lisa’s coffee! The only negative is that we had to head back home. Can’t wait for the next visit. "
