"Much privacy. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Bed was comfortable. Couch was uncomfortable. Would be nice to have parking space next to the house."

"Who knew that sand and snow combined would be just what we needed! As soon as we walked into our cottage getaway, the cozy space welcomed us with a beautiful kitchen, large TV and the bed was really comfortable!! We felt secure, we felt the kitchen was well supplied and the town was welcoming and friendly! We'd love to come again and bring our family!!"

"House was great, you can walk down the steps & literally get in the water of Lake Michigan. There are a lot of steps to get down there so not for someone with walking issues. House is cute, clean & has a great deck to sit out on & excellent lake access. Location is very rural & literally have to drive down dirt roads & hills to get to the house. Nothing serious but I was surprised. "

"The cottage was great and everything in it was well thought out. They have a great collection of DVD's, VHS, and CDs and even some craft kits for the kids. I have never stayed in a place that was so well stocked for guests, there wasn't anything they didn't have in the kitchen. Location is great, although it is about .5 miles to the gate to the beach now, they had to take out the old access. Still very very walkable. "My friend and I needed some post-Christmas girls trip fun and relaxation, and the Big Red Cabin was the perfect spot! We enjoyed exploring Saugatuck and Holland, even with a few rainy days. The cabin was perfect for getting cozy with drinks and TV time, plus we thoroughly enjoyed hopping in the hot tub each night. Erica was a thoughtful and friendly host!"
