"Booked a fairly last minute stay for the holiday and were very pleased with the house. It was very clean and in a great location. We had our dog with us and there was a nice yard for her to play in. Jeff the owner was very responsive with any questions we had pre or during the stay. They do ask you to take your trash with you which was a first for us but otherwise it was a great experience and would recommend it to other couples and those with a dog."

"Everything inside is either new or recent, and everything is well kept and spotlessly clean. Insulation is superb; we didn't need to run the A/C until my wife cooked on the last day, and noise from outside was minimal or non-existent. There are more houses and people in the area than we expected. Akers Pond is very nice, although I wish the power boats and water skiers would have stayed away (we were in our kayaks). The water temp in the shower seemed to change during the shower a little bit on...

"This property embodies the cozy cabin vibes from the logs on the structure to the Moose head on the wall. You can tell a lot of thought went into keeping the decorations in the theme. Cabin is tucked inside the trees. We worked from our laptops during the day and hiked around with the dog in the afternoons. I would rent this property again."

"We are a family from The Netherlands (Europe) and are travelling through the US and Canada. Our stay in the cabin was amazing. Very cozy and authentic. It is so silent at night. The forest is beautiful and the people we met in town (Colebrook) where all very friendly. Would love to come back some day!"

"I am happy to say that I have been here for the past 2 years over the summer, and the cabin is absolutely amazing both times. It’s such a nice little place where after you go hiking or swimming it’s nice to come back to to relax. I would recommend this place to anyone, and John is an amazing guy who will answer any questions that you have and gives amazing tips, so don’t be afraid to ask him questions or any concerns."

"We would stay here again. Modern styled, clean house with comfortable touches. Beds were extremely comfortable and plush. Kitchen was a pleasure to cook and bake in. Very large flat screen tv and cozy couch. Plenty of parking, large yard and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. IGA for groceries is a short distance North. A great stay!"

"This rental exceeded our expectations! We wanted to hike at nearby Table Rock and really didn't have much for expectations. The view is beautiful and Michael was a great host! The property is very large and we loved the TV room and big screen TV. Very well equipped. The home is a bit dated, but very roomy and a bit of mid-century mod, down to the original intercoms in the walls. We really enjoyed it!"
