Flip Flop Inn - G106 at North Coast Village

Looking for a beach condo in an Oceanfront resort-like complex with a upscale, comfortable interior at an affordable price? Well, just flip flop on in to the Flip Flop Inn! The living area has been updated with a queen size sofa bed a 2 comfortable chairs. It opens to a balcony with breakfast bar. The chef in your party will enjoy cooking in the updated kitchen with stainless appliances, recessed lighting, and wood-look tile floors. The bedroom has a king size bed plus a twin daybed, and the updated bath has a gorgeous walk-in shower, with a separate dressing area.

Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet.

Flip Flop Inn comes with one conveniently close garage parking space.

You'll enjoy all of the amenities of North Coast Village. As you walk through the staffed secure gate to oceanfront North Coast Village, you are transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex in Oceanside California.

You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit.

When you venture through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego Countyā€™s finest beaches: broad and flat with volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Beach towels and chairs are provided with the condo.

To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceansideā€™s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern Californiaā€™s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer.

The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1, and the Sunset Market happens every Thursday evening from 5-9. Be sure to taste the cedar-planked Salmon!

Quick Beach Trip

The condo was nice. It was right by the train tracks so it was loud when the windows were open. The condo had a very musty smell (bad water smell) when the shower was used. The property was nice and it served the purpose to sleep. We didnā€™t spend much time in the condo due to the smell.

Great little bungalow

Visiting our Marine based at Camp Pendleton- perfect location. Convenient to everything. Only suggestion is for the overall property- signage is pretty much nonexistent Signage would help directionally.

Loved my time at the beach!

Loved having a day bed in the bedroom for my kids to sleep on. The condo was clean, check in was easy (after hours with the security team), and we had a great time. The complex was confusing to navigate at first, but we figured it out. Wi-fi was great and there were plenty of amenities. The building did shut down water from 9am to 12pm the day we checked out, which made showers and running the dishwasher tough. Pool was heated but it was too cold and breezy in mid april to really swim.

The property is as listed but I have two small issues. First, the complex is massive and finding your way around is not easy. I parked where instructed but I still had to haul by luggage up and down a few stair cases until the correct building and floor. That could probably be avoided with a more complete conversation with the check in team. The second issue I had was the property is located close to railroad tracks - which were used by the local surf rider commuter train - as well as Amtrak. That was a surprise as the trains ran early and often during commute time. Other than the above, the place was clean and comfortable. Easy walk to bars or places to eat - and the beach was directly across the street.

Great stay, great location

The condo was great, everything we needed was there. The location was perfect. On the beach side and right next to the pier. Multiple store in the area. We had planned various activities during our stay and decided to cancel some to enjoy the place. Would recommend.

Quiet comfortable stay

The location is very nice, situated in a gated HOA with a very nicely landscaped common area and nice amenities. The unit is very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom could use blackout curtains to keep it dark at night, but we came up with a workable temporary solution. Kitchen is nicely furnished. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Condo Complex

The condo was clean, with plenty of towels & a well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable situation. The grounds were beautiful, with lots of trees, flowers & water features to make walks enjoyable. Plus all the amenities made it a great place to be. I plan on coming back & bringing more family!

Extended Stay

We were very comfortable here for a 3 week stay during the winter. It was immaculate and updated, nice furnishings. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Plenty of linens and towels and a comfortable mattress. Laundry downstairs. We enjoyed the hot tub, gym and sauna on site and having the beach close by. We had a couple of snafus which were handled immediately by the friendly staff (a shower drain issue and a broken toaster, which were taken care of within a few of hours). The only con, which may be important to some folks: the curtains in the bedroom were not the black-out type and the landscape lights and outdoor lights from units nearby stay on all night. Also, the gas fireplace works but you can barely see the flame which was a disappointment since we stayed during the winter when a fireplace would have been enjoyed. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent family vacation spot.

Took my family over the holidays and had an excellent time. Property is right on the beach and right next door to the harbor with many restaurants within walking distance. Room was very clean and well decorated. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed and then some to cook our meals on the nights that we didn't go out to eat. Check in was very easy and the only negative I could say is I wish check out was a little later than 10:00 We will definitely go back for another stay.

Amazing Escape

I have no complaints about this unit. It was welcoming and has everything we needed. When it got cold we used a space heater provided. Amazing restaurants nearby, so close to the beach and the pier.

Nice condo

Nice condo that was clean and cozy. Plenty of extra towels and wash cloths. They even had a small stroller which we used to go to Legoland. There was also a pack n play and small childā€™s seat as well as step stool for the bathroom sink, so kid friendly place. The area was close to many eating establishments and was across the street from the beach. Owners contacted us once we were settled in and checked to make sure we didnā€™t need anything else! We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.
