It was comprehensively redesigned to become a vacation retreat offered by The Urban Nest North County. The designer's signature style shows throughout the space. It is our goal is to deliver unique design, blended with authentic hospitality, to each and every guest!
The Space:
PROPERTY OVERVIEW
Re-imagined to perfection and under new, top-notch management, this single-story vacation retreat boasts high vaulted ceilings, skylights flooding the space with natural light, hardwood floors, a semi-open floor plan, luxury bedding, a full kitchen, stylist furnishings throughout, an outdoor bistro table with a private grill, a fenced in common courtyard with a fire table, beach equipment, and Cox Gigablast Wi-Fi speed! The CEO of The Urban Nest is one of the top designers in Southern California, and her signature style shows. The CFO of the company has spent his 20-year career as an executive within the luxury hotel space. Together it is their goal to deliver unique design, blended with authentic hospitality, to each and every guest!
CLEANING COMMITMENT
Cleanliness has always been of the utmost importance to us! Our Ambassador of Clean oversees the cleanliness of our homes. Through her efforts, we have been given a 5-star review for the cleanliness of our homes from each and every guest that has ever stayed with us over the last 5 years! We are very proud of this.
LIVING AREA
- Vaulted ceiling with skylights flooding this home with natural light, the space is incredibly welcoming!
- Recline on a comfortable sofa and two stylish armchairs in the living room while watching a movie on the 55” flat screen smart TV.
- Television content is provided via Hulu TV. Hulu is a entertainment content provider offering live TV via an expanded line up of television network programming, on demand television content, and on demand movies.
- The home is fully equipped with a new, state-of-the-art HVAC system including air conditioning, which keeps guests in control of their comfort throughout the year. Please note, that air conditioning is very difficult to find in the area as historic homes present a challenge to installing. Through some fine engineering, we are proud to say that we got it in.
- Complimentary Cox’s Gigablast Wi-Fi is available for Guest Use.
WORKSPACE
- Do you best work remotely! A large dining table with great natural light defines a comfortable workspace.
- Convenient USB outlets are located throughout the home.
- Our investment in Cox’s Gigablast service ensures fast and reliable service for all your IT needs.
- While the Keurig machine offers the necessary caffeine for the early or late video conference of the day, a mid-day stroll on the pier offers a perfect mid-day break.
KITCHEN & DINING
- The kitchen is adorned with wood countertops and upgraded stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher.
- A Keurig machine with complimentary coffee and condiments await guests.
- Kitchen is fully equipped with everything guests may need to enjoy their stay, including grilling tools and a pizza stone for chilly nights or our smallest guest.
- Gather in the dining area with accommodations for four inside, or enjoy a snack or morning cup of coffee at your own private bistro table.
- The semi-open, flowing floor plan allows for guests to remain engaged with one another.
BEDROOMS & BATH
- This home accommodates four guests between a king size luxury bed and a memory form, queen-size sofa sleeper.
- The full bathroom is stocked complete with a complimentary 5-piece, starter set of toiletries Intended to pamper the guests.
- The bath features a modern glass walk-in shower.
- The space features an open chrome wired closets for ease of access to luggage and guest belongings.
- The king size bed offers luxurious bedding, including the signature mattress from the World’s Largest Luxury Hotel Chain, down pillows, and 540 thread count sheets.
- The memory foam, queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room is intended to ensure the 3th-4th person a quality night’s sleep.
- Ample, high quality linens along with beach towels are provided for guest use.
OUTDOOR AREA
- A fenced front and backyards allow adults and children to enjoy the Cali sunshine and the beautiful sunsets.
- Unwind on six Adirondack chairs that surround the fire table in the common courtyard. Please note that the common courtyard is shared by all three units in contrast to the private patio located at the main entrance. Many of our guests enjoy the opportunity to socialize with other guests staying at the property.
- Fire up the dedicated gas grill and enjoy a snack at your private bistro table.
- Thoughtfully landscaping ensures the guest can enjoy the quiet neighborhood while being reminded they are in sunny destination at a vacation retreat.
BEACH EQUIPMENT
Need bikes, helmets, or boards? Don't rent them! This home provides two beach cruiser bikes with helmets, two boogie boards, two beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, a cooler, and a wagon to tote it all to the famous Oceanside Pier beach.
LAUNDRY
Two sets of full-size washer/dryers with complimentary detergent are provided in the common courtyard for guest use.
PARKING
- This home comes with an on-site dedicated parking spot in the rear of the property.
- Additionally, plenty of street parking is available in the neighborhood on a first come, first served basis. Please note the following restrictions due to street sweeping:
- The East side is no parking between 10am-2pm on 1st and 3rd Monday for street sweeping.
- The West side is no parking between 6am-10am on the 1st and 3rd Monday for street sweeping.
KEYLESS ENTRY
This home is equipped with a smart lock. Upon arrival, guests can easily access the home with a keyless secure door code. Please note, the access code is time-sensitive. As such, it operates the lock only at or after 3:00p time and will not work after 10:00a on your check-out date.
EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS
We have a strict policy that does not allow for early check-ins or late check-outs. We take great pride in the cleanliness and organization of our homes so we need to afford housekeeping enough time to properly prepared for each and every guest!
SECURITY DEPOSIT
We are pleased to have hosted a huge number of respectful and thoughtful guest(s) in the past, however we do have to put this disclaimer out there to protect ourselves against the occasional problematic guest(s). Please be sure to carefully review the House Rules! A $1,000.00 security deposit is required with this reservation and we will process a credit card authorization in that amount prior to your arrival. This authorization is held for 14 days and will expire after your departure only after it is inspected to ensure that the House Rules were strictly followed, all contents of the home are undamaged and in the unit, and there is no damage or additional cleaning that is needed to return the unit or the contents of the unit to the condition that was present prior to your arrival.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
By confirming your booking, you will be entering into a Rental Agreement with The Urban Nest North County. The Rental Agreement will be sent to you approximately two hours after confirmation of your booking. If you have any objections to the terms of the Rental Agreement, you must notify management, in writing, within 24 hours of receipt of the Rental Agreement via the host channel.
