Stunningly situated right on the beach in Oceano, this oceanfront home offers a wonderful, tranquil escape for families or a group of people. Wake up each morning to the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean, and sip your coffee on one of two glassed-in decks with a porch swing and sweeping views of the water. This beautifully remodeled home also features three fireplaces, a Ping-Pong table in the garage, and a fleet of bikes to take around the neighborhood.

This light-filled home sits directly on the beach in Oceano, offering a private walkway from the backyard to the sand. You can explore the Dune Trail or the Beach Trail at Oceano Dunes Natural Preserve immediately north, or catch a few thrills with an excursion to the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area just beyond. The heart of Oceano is one mile inland, Pismo Beach (home of the famous Pismo Beach Pier and the Monarch Butterfly Grove) is three miles north, and the charming town of San Luis Obispo awaits 15 miles north.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great Beach House for a Big Family!
We loved the huge table in the dining room. It has a spectacular view of the ocean and was perfect for all of our meals together as a group of 10! We played games and worked on puzzles as a family at the table too. It was kind of our favorite spot (other than the beach and deck!)

Great Stay
We had an amazing stay and could not have been more happy in this home. Host company was responsive, attentive and made us feel like a priority. Kayla was helpful and kind. When we noticed a few light bulbs out, they were there first thing next morning. Beach access is perfect and our kids loved it. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation and memories.

FAMILY CELEBRATION!
This home and location was Amazing!! We had so much Fun on the beach...right outside the door...grandkiddos had fun body surfing the sand dunes and kite flying! We enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the balcony and the sounds of the ocean. The Bunk Room was Perfect for the Grandkids...and Grandparents. Also, special time playing ping pong! We enjoyed a Fantastic few days together! Thank You!

Fantastic home for a getaway
Location, location, location. Daily walks on the beach and enjoying sunset at night. Proximity to the butterfly grove, the town of Pismo Beach, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo was perfect. This home has a beautiful master suite, 4 bathrooms, a large table for game nights, and a nice sized deck. My only complaint (which is minor) is that the deck railing obstructed the view of the sunset if you’re sitting on the deck chairs.

Beach Getaway
Perfect location with awesome views for our beachfront getaway. This home had plenty of space with a bed for each of our 8 adult women. The decorating scheme was very eclectic and fun. While the furniture was quite worn and somewhat uncomfortable, that did not take away from our experience. Would have been nice to know that the built in microwave and ice maker did not work and the windows definitively needed cleaning. But, we would definitely come again.

Great For a Large Group
This is on the beach. It is a great place to stay if playing in the ocean is what you want to do. Our group enjoyed this immensely. The beach was clean and well monitored. The house is an older one but was nice for our large group.

Great beachfront house
The highlight of the house is the beach - it is right on the dunes. There is not much walkable from the house, so we drove into town but mostly just stayed at the house during our stay.

Great beach house
Amazing house great for a large family gathering. Plenty of room for the whole family. The bunk room for all the kids works out perfect. Only wish the cleaning would’ve been a little better prior to our arrival. Some beds still had a little sand in them, and none of the windows were washed and cleaned for the balcony and view of the ocean. Management responded quickly to any issues we had. They were easy to deal with and would definitely stay here again.

A few issues
One of the twin beds had wet bedding.. Possibly a cleaning agent was spilled. Had to wash and dry. Need new fry pans and additional flatware. No storage in the kitchen for our groceries. Had to keep on floor in boxes we had. No additional toilet paper. No batteries for the remote in the master bedroom fireplace. Would have been nice for the windows on the terrace to have been cleaned. Overall we had a great time. Kids loved playing on the dunes. Called and emailed manager, no response. Yes would recommend to friends.

Nice home! We had a wonderful time here at the house. Weather was a bit chilly but overall beautiful and fun! Wish the property manager replied to VRBO messaging for ease of communication.

Really Weird house!
Let's start with the good: easy check-in, comfy and clean beds, lovely view of the ocean. Not so good: All windows were filthy so we cleaned them to be able to see the view. Tons of burnt out lights, we had to call to have bathroom lights fixed so we could see (they were very responsive to our call). Hot tub empty. The batteries died on the lock to the house. Only one of the three fireplaces actually work. Personal items everywhere, we felt like we were in someone's actual home (personal belongings in drawers). Kitchen was filthy. Sticky utensils, chipped dishes, dented and warped pots and pans. blankets in living room basked need washing. Not enough cutlery for 8 people. Kitchen is a disaster! Absolutely not what we expected for the price. If kitchen is completely cleared out, cleaned and replaced with new dishes, pots/pans and cutlery it would be a great improvement.

Great place for family vacations! All the kids loved the bunk-bed room. Also, we loved the decor and theme of the beach-house. ATV, beach, and one of the best places to enjoy a sunset. Amazing Beach House for Groups
We came up with 11 family members and thoroughly enjoyed the house. The house is huge with tons of sleeping options for everyone. The "kids" 18-25 took over the bunk room and had a blast! The house is clean, comfortable and very well stocked. The best of all was the view of the dunes and ocean. We loved it and hope to return next year.

Great property.
Great ocean view, great layout, plenty of space. West windows in Living room were full of cobwebs and very dirty. Clear wall windows on patio were filthy. I cleaned them myself in order to enjoy the view to the fullest. Was not the cleanest home but the house itself was wonderful. For the amount of money that was paid to stay in this home, I would expect it to be spotless. That would be the only reason I would consider not renting it again. May want to look into a new cleaning service.

Oceano getaway
The property has a great view of the beach. The amount of room in the house was perfect for a large group. This being my first vrbo rental, I was uncomfortable with the amount of personal property left in the home. I would request a resolution to the trash area. We showed up to a week's worth of other people's trash in the driveway. Overall, my family had a wonderful stay. The memories made will be felt for a lifetime. Although I have concerns with the property, I would happily reserve the rental for a large group.

Yes - we'd love to stay again - even though there were some issues..
This is a great property. The location right on the dunes cannot be beat. The home lent itself well to our group of 3 families: grandparents, and 2 families with kids. We would love to stay here again but here were the issues: The property could be cleaner - there were wads of hair in the shower downstairs, the carpet downstairs was very musty and damp. The property was not well-maintained/ready for our stay - the water level in the jacuzzi was low so it was unable to heat up until we filled it to the proper level, the propane tank for the gas grill was empty (we went to a gas station to fill it but later found another propane tank in the garage that had some propane in it). MOST IMPORTANTLY was a safety issue: We left for a day trip to Morro Bay, leaving my mother (in her late 70s) alone in the home. While we were gone, a man came to the door, rang the doorbell, and then let himself in. He said he was a maintenance man, but did not wear a uniform or a badge. He said someone had called from the house about a toilet repair. No one in our home had contacted anyone. My mom told him so, but he went into the master bathroom and said he knew what to fix. My mom was concerned and afraid and we called 911. We were all very shaken. We learned from Vacasa/VRBO that the property manager had contacted a maintenance worker to fix something, but we were NEVER CONTACTED that a person would be letting himself into the home to fix a toilet (which to us seemed to work fine). This should never have happened. We were told that the property manager would contact us, but to date, she has not. Management has some kinks to work out with this property, but because of its location and beautiful balcony and many bedrooms, we would stay again.
