Ideal for groups of up to 4, this tranquil retreat offers a short five-minute stroll to the beach in a peaceful residential enclave. Inside, discover an inviting open floor plan with a queen bed, a well-appointed kitchen, and a spacious living area with a wood-burning fireplace, complemented by a private queen bedroom. Refresh in the bathroom with a convenient walk-in shower and washer/dryer combo. Outside, unwind on the front deck with ample seating, perfect for sunset views or summertime barbecues, and gather around the fire pit in the fenced backyard. Just minutes from Ocean Park, indulge in local delights like Adelaide's café and explore the historic Oysterville nearby. Your coastal escape awaits at The Looney Bin.

Beach Access:
• 5-minute walk to the beach
• 12-minute drive to downtown Long Beach

Pets:
• Sorry, no pets are allowed at this vacation rental.
• Violating this rule will result in a $500 fine.

Unique beach experience
The Looney Bin was in a beautiful part of the Discovery Coast. It was tranquil, close to the beach, and well stocked with supplies and niceties, all adding up to a lovely stay. The beach is almost like a private one, but there is plenty of action in Long Beach. Cape Disappointment and Oysterville were wonderful places to visit. A very comfortable stay and memorable experience.

Cute little cottage
Was really impressed with Bloomer’s communication and responsiveness! Aside from the rental being pretty tricky to find (street number isn’t marked, google maps inaccurate- bloomer did provide alternative directions but they were a bit unclear), all other logistics were great- door code worked, Wi-Fi was good, instructions were clear. Clean, cozy, plenty of extra linens and blankets. The place was less private than I expected from the pictures but it has a nice big yard. Would definitely stay again :)

Great beach cabin
Our family had a great time staying at the cabin for the weekend! Well equipped and easy access to the beach. We carried our almost 2 year old along the short stretch of highway to get to the beach access. We appreciated having clam guns and beach toys for our use!

Great girls weekend
We stayed at the Loony Bin for our annual girls trip. We loved the location, the house is in a quiet area, close to shopping and activities. It is a cozy house with all the amenities we needed. We would consider coming back. Thank you!

The property was listed as having a short walk to the beach. Main reason I rented this house over a different one. However there was no close access to any Beach.

We had a great time at the looney bin!! Very clean and had everything you needed! The beach isn’t super close, as it’s actually a road over. And the washer dryer needs better instructions. Beds we’re comfortable, and everything was stocked perfectly! Thank you!!

Peaceful and cozy cabin getaway
We had a relaxing and fun four days at the Loony Bin. It was very cozy, had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. It was nice being away from the center of Long Beach. Bloomer was very good at email communication before and during our stay.

A Special Place
Everything went so smoothly here. We were delighted to see the fully-equipped kitchen. Its a darling cabin, comfortable and clean. And the responses to our questions were met immediately. Highly recommend this cabin.

Quaint and quiet
This property was decent although I would not recommend as a family with babies. Many of the walls are unfinished plywood or plywood paneling and I was concerned that my baby would get splinters from crawling near it. The other issue for having kids at this property is that there is no bathtub at all. Otherwise, this was a decent property with several amenities. The beds were comfortable.

Quick stay for a short getaway
Really enjoyed this place. It was very close to the water, so got to walk down and enjoy the beach. Also very much enjoyed the small fireplace/oven indoors. Would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin in perfect location!
Our family of three stayed at The Looney Bin for four nights. With the beach just a few minutes walk from the cabin we got to see some spectacular sunsets! The cabin has a few games and puzzles that our eight year old really enjoyed and the place is very clean and quiet. Perfect for a quiet retreat! I would definitely come and stay again!

Lovely stay
Cozy one bedroom/one studio bed vacation rental that made a beach getaway possible during these times. The kitchen is well equipped with common cooking spices, oils and a variety of cooking and baking kitchenware. A fireplace and beach chairs/camp chairs/beach toys was available onsite. Also a variety of magazines, books, puzzles, kids games inside too. Internet was fine, had no issues with that. No direct beach access but it was a 8 minute walk or 5 min drive. Would definitely recommend it for a stressfree vacation or getaway.

Relaxing Location
This was a great place to stay and relax for the weekend. It was quiet, there was plenty of things to do near by, and most importantly, you were happy to come back to the Loony Bin at the end of each day. We would love to come back again.

Adorable little cabin
This property is great for a little ocean getaway. Very clean and surprisingly well stocked with everything you could possibly need! There is no internet at this location so be aware of that. Otherwise, the home was clean and lovely for a small group of us to enjoy the beach and visit with relatives nearby. Loved the bonfire pit in the back yard as well!
