On arrival at Elmbank Garden Apartment, youā€™ll find yourself in a mini-Eden. Lush gardens sweep you along to the front of the property where windows overlook the gorgeous view back over the gardens with Oban bay just a short walk away. The property has a private entrance, decking area for al fresco dining and a free parking space for all guests. Elmbank can accommodate 2 guests. You also park for free, something that is very rare in Oban.

Bel appartement pour visiter Oban et les environs :) Ć  noter qu'il faut se stationner dans la rue alors je ne dirais pas que le stationnement est inclus. De plus, il n'y a pas de sĆ©cheuse alors prĆ©voir votre lavage en consĆ©quence, il a fallu 3 jours pour que Ƨa sĆØche. Autrement, je recommande dĆ©finitivement ce logement et Oban dn gĆ©nĆ©ral :)

Month in Scotland

Property clean neat and had everything we needed. Quite large and airy. Property lists golf view never saw the course, nice patio we were able to use once because of the rain. Very satisfied. If you disabled it has a gravel walk down that might be challenging. Highly recommend this property.

Great location, cosy apartment

This was a very well equipped apartment in a great location. The bed was very comfy (albeit one side against a wall and a bed end which made it a bit difficult to get in and out of).Plenty of hot water but a bit of a drainage issue in the shower ( made the owner aware so hopefully this will be fixed).The washer and drying rack were a handy bonus

Beautiful little apartment

We had a nice time at the Garden Apartment. It is well situated with a short walk into town. The bed was large and comfortable. I wouldnā€™t say the kitchen was sparkling clean though. The oven could use a deep cleaning and I was unable to find hot pads for removing hot items. Some of the cookware needed a wash before using. The shower was also really tricky; it was either scalding or freezing. We had been using the instant hot water system at several other VRBOs by this time, so I donā€™t believe it was operator error. Overall though, a pretty spot and very quiet.

Great seaside getaway!

This was a quick stop between traveling for my husband and I. After many days of hotels, I cannot tell you how nice it was to stay in this quiet, cozy and most of all HOMEY space! Just what we needed! The recommendation of dinner at the Coast restaurant was perfect for a nice evening.

Wish we could stay longer

This is a lovely spot on the hill above the center of town. It is within walking distance to restaurants, stores, and the water. It has a secluded small garden patio, lovely for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. There are plenty of suggestions on things to do and places to eat. We fell in love with Oban and would have stayed longer if we could. If we ever get back we would definately stay here again.

Top of the hill relaxation

The owners are very polite and great at communicating. The place was wonderful, had everything we needed, and even though you might wonder if it is far out from the shops and food... It's not!! We got everywhere by walking and it took little time. Also, being at the top means you will see some great views and have some great peace and quiet. We would definitely stay again.

Nice house, lacked certain expected ammenities

Nice little apartment. The complaints we had a small, but effected our stay. There was not any soap for the washing machine. This was one of the reasons we choose to stay. There was also no soap or shampoo. We did not know we needed to bring this stuff with us.

Impossible to eat at the tiny breakfast bar. Oven was filthy just covered by lots of foil. Double bed was against the wall making access difficult. No views and quite dark inside because of foliage.

Great Location

Really convenient place to stay with added benefit of being able to park on the side of a quiet road. Lovely comfortable bed.Easy walk downhill into town with bit of an uphill trek in 26Ā°! Lovely shady patio area for evening drinks/supper. A fridge with an icebox would have been very useful as there is nowhere for ice/frozen foods or ice cream, particularly in hot weather. Great boat trip with Oban Sea Tours and seafood stall by the Railway Station. Recommend!!

Cracking wee place.

Cannot fault the flat. Brilliant place to stay it was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable I slept like a rock. Comfortable seating and nice size tv. The flat has everything you need, Cooker, Washing machine, Microwave, Shower. Nice sitting area outside to sit with a glass of wine at the end of the day. It is only a 10 minute walk to Obans town centre where there are loads of amenities to enjoy. Absolutely loved the long weekend at Elmbank apartment. Would definitely go back. šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Really disappointed

We would never have booked this apartment if they had shown the walk/steps to the door, dangerous especially in wet weather, and on this occasion a dog who would not go away causing problems when we tried to access the alley way and front door. The apartment was really grubby and very dirty in places (I even took photos to prove it) also the bedroom was very musty. As a previous renter stated, no instructions to operate the heating, we searched the booklet to no avail, instructions could not be found even though the owner had stated they where in the booklet on a previous review. We did not contact the owner direct about these issues as when another renter made comments he replied something along the lines - no-one else has said this - what a reply, perhaps something like - sorry we did not meet your expectations would have been much better, the reply was more of an aggressive one. No plug or hot water in bathroom for the sink. The drawers in the bedroom wardrobe were that stiff I had to get my husband to open them anytime I wanted to use them. The website picture did not show the bed against the wall on one side, meaning one of you had to climb over the other if you wanted to get up in the night. We moved the bed a little to try and make it central so we could both get out when needed, such a tight squeeze, it was a nightmare as we both get up in the night, so tight that I cut my toe on a broken floorboard which would not stop bleeding, I put a plaster on but it came off in the night leaving blood stains on the duvet cover. We are not totally unfit people but again the squeeze down the side of the building and the 2 high steps to the front door were challenging. This property certainly needs an overhaul and the website pictures and description need to be updated to reflect the true view of the property. We tried to stay the full 5 nights but decided after 4 nights to call it a day.
