"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnolia is a beautiful well furnished home. We were lucky enough to have gotten lots of snow during our stay. It was so beautiful!! I would suggest additional heating on/in the main level bedrooms. There was a dramatic difference in that part of the house. Lots of "It's freezing back here" comments. space heaters would have been most welcome! We kept the thermostat at 70 lest the upstairs get too warm. I did report that there was leaking in the upstairs...

"The Gathering Place was such a great property with suberb hosts. I was most impressed with communication from the owners and the tips and details they provided before our arrival. "This was the second time we stayed at this house. We had beautiful weather, but the house was a wonderful retreat when we needed to cool down and relax. It's a quiet neighborhood that is located perfectly to get to town quickly or enjoy state parks."

"Great central location right off busy Garrett Highway. Nice amenities, could even suit 3 distinct groups with sleeping for 14. Walk out lower level directly to the lake, steps away. Nice hot tub, dock and kayaks. Fun game table and some arcade games if children come along. Enjoyable evening by the fire pit with s'mores! Easy to find, easy to book, responsive owners."

"My husband and I stayed here with our small dog for a few days over Thanksgiving. It was wonderful! The kitchen had everything we needed to make a big meal, the living room was cozy with the fireplace on and the bathroom and bedroom were clean and comfortable. We really had no complaints and would absolutely visit again during the warmer months. "

"This cabin was just absolutely perfect! Cozy and quaint is a wonderful description. We ventured to DCL for a couple days of skiing and a few more days of complete relaxation for my birthday.
