Country cabin 11 min to Yosemite toll- 13, guest 7 beds game room 2000 Ft


Spacious group or family home located in the pines, just 10 minutes from the Yosemite Gate entrance and less than 2 miles to Lewis Creek trailhead (Corlieu Falls). Individual ACs and heating are available in all bedrooms and living areas. There are 4 TVs. The garage has an extra futon, games, DVDs, books, -a table for cards, poker, dominoes, or Monopoly. Also has an evaporative cooler for summer use. Patio lights surround the home for evenings spent beside the fire pit or BBQ. Close to hiking trails and minutes from Bass Lake or Oakhurst, with easy access to Shuteye Peak for off-road fun. Everything you need for cooking and creating family memories is within quick and fun reach in every direction. Convenient parking for vehicles and toys. This warm and inviting home feels like grandma’s house — not fancy, but a place for making memories, versus just a place to sleep. For safety- Ring is on door f & solar battery backup set up- as power is always iffy in the mountains. See you soon!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was bigger than it looks in the photos and had plenty of space for our large group to hang out and play board games. There was lots of comfortable seating, both inside and outside, and the view was beautiful. The game room was a huge hit with everyone, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the toiletries, extra blankets, and plenty of pillows. The location was easy to get to, and the whole place was perfect for relaxing together. Would definitely stay again!

Good Place to Stay to See Yosemite

My family and I enjoyed our 3-night stay at the house. There was a total of seven of us humans and one small dog. We loved the number of beds. Also the living room was roomy and the television was good to airplay the shows from the streaming services from our iPhones. We enjoyed our evenings in the house. A/C in each room worked well. We cooked our breakfasts and dinners at the house and we had the equipment and dinnerware for us all and then some. We are all adults and able-bodied but one thing of note for those with young kids or old people is that the stairs to the floor below the main level is immediately within a few feet of the front door. So watch your kids or grandparents closely to make sure they don’t absentmindedly fall down the stairs by walking too far in without turning right or left.

Yosemite Great Experience

We had a great stay at Randy and Cheryl’s place! The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and easy to find, and Randy and Cheryl were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Great stay!

Our group of eight had a great stay at this rental. The cabin was spacious with many rooms and spaces to hang out together or to get some rest when needed. The mini splits kept every room very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and we never ran out of anything during our five night stay. Other features we appreciates were washer and dryer, plenty of towels and proximity to Yosemite and grocery store. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a comfortable stay near Yosemite.

Into the woods

if you don’t want to leave nature and feel in the woods this is the place. We saw a puma and deers just outside in the backyard. The house was spacious with a lot of beds. and if you feel like going to the town it’s only 10mins away. Great experience

Second stay with this property since we loved it our first time and loved it again a second time! Lot's of room and a huge family/living room. Perfect setting waking up with deer on the property and wild turkeys. Night time is amazing since you get a view of the stars you can't in metro areas! Close proximity to Yosemite which of course is amazing, along with trails close by. Close to Oakhurst which has some very good restaurants, grocery stores (Von's is great and has its own gas station which is cheaper than others), and you have to make a trip to Bass Lake. Dog friendly property and area. Very quiet. Owners very accessible and helpful. A great stay and will return again!!

We celebrated Christmas at The Hurst property. They have everything Two grills a fire pit game room with plenty of games and movies, washer dryer plenty of pots and pans. Comfortable clean beds. Bedrooms are large so you’re not cramped. Really quiet and clean. Each room has heat and air separate so that you can set it up to your liking. Also a fire place.Also a crib a high chair. So really everything you need. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Amazing Grandma & Grandpa Quality Time

This home is so very comfortable and cozy; and very welcoming to family. The owners were very helpful and gracious allowing us an early arrival!! Thanks so much!!! Our family loved the house and were comfortable to spend 2 nights with us :) We enjoyed the large dining table for breakfast and several crafts, and enjoyed walking down the lane :) and to their home on Oak Ln.

Fabulous - Simply Fabulous!!

Property exactly as listed. What a great location for those visiting Yosemite and having pets. Property is in a very quiet location and easy to get to the main road to Oakhurst and to Yosemite National Park. Very close to both. In addition were the amazing trails, starting with a fantastic one only a mile away and great to walk your dogs. Bass Lake is very close by and offers a lot of fun and options. The home is very spacious and well decorated. Everything one needs for a trip or vacation is there, and in great shape. Beautiful home with a great yard. Nice to see the wildlife pass by. Investigated options to stay for future trips to Yosemite and we all agreed that this place and location is the BEST you can do. Will definitely be back to this location. Owner was very responsive as well. Loved it!! Great time!!

Hemos estado alojados en esta casa durante 3 días. La casa está ubicada en un sitio estratégico para hacer diferentes excursiones. Para tan poquitos días no nos tuvimos que preocupar de comprar cosas básicas, puesto que la casa ya viene preparada con muchos productos de limpieza de la casa, así como de aseo personal. La casa por dentro estaba muy limpia. Es cómoda porque el salón nos permitió estar los 8 supercómodos. Lo único un poquito a mejorar es el exterior que difiere mucho de las fotos. Los dueños fueron muy amables en todo momento dándonos todas las indicaciones que necesitábamos por whatsapp. La recomendamos totalmente.

Perfect Weekend Family Getaway

This property was exactly as posted. It was in the perfect location, had a great amount of space, and great amenities. We even got to see some wildlife (deer, turkeys, Woodpeckers, and Bluebirds). Whether it be family or friends and wether your destination is Bass Lake or Yosemite, this property is a perfect place to call home away from home.

Great stay in a great house

Beautiful spacious and special place, conveniently located close to the southern entry of Yosemite, reasonably close to Kings and Sequoia parks, and just 10 minutes ride from Bass lake, in which we rented a boat with water sports equipment, which was really fun for the kids. There was seven of us staying over (3 kids and 4 adults), with plenty of room for each one. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and very well equipped. In one of the days a family of deers paid us a visit just outside the door, which was adorable 😊

Excellent and near Yosemite

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house was great. There was enough space for 7 adults and 2 children to sleep comfortably. We did not use the game room in the basement but it was clean and well maintained. We spent most of our time there exploring Yosemite but it was wonderful to return to a house that was well maintained and comfortable. There is a pantry room that had many kitchen appliances like a crock pot which was really nice for us to put dinner on and have it ready when we returned. The only things needed is for the host to add more potholders and a way to turn off the rear motion sensor lights so we could have star gazed. We highly recommend this property to stay when you want to explore the area. We wish we would have stayed longer.
