"Our 3 night stay included 2 nights of very bad storms and the host was very responsive to our needs. She went above and beyond, despite other cabins needing more asistance. This is a great little "cabin in the woods", so if you are looking for a 5 star hotel this isnt the place for you. We always pack "to be prepared", and this came in handy. We enjoy our "creature comforts of home" and so we brought them with us. We brought all our own food and drinks...otherwise it would have been a 30 minute...

"The house was large and beautiful. The property is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. However, the beds were not comfortable, there were dead bugs throughout the house that should have been cleaned before our arrival. We planned on using the washing machine but it was broken. Basic amenities like toilet paper, soap, shampoo, kitchen towel and sponge were either lacking or not provided. We had to purchase many things that we had expected to be on site, even some kitchen...

Great communication with the host, had to advise the host of several repairs that needed to be made and he was open to the information. It creaks and moans going up and down and there was a strong stench of mold or something outside near the bushes and trees that should probably be attended to, but all in all, it was a great, restful stay and we will likely be back.
