"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was so convenient to rent a pontoon boat and Park it right across the street. We had a blast! I would highly recommend the property!!!"

"We stayed at the mini-cabin for a weekend and had a lovely time. The add-ons were convenient- we chose the water package to go paddleboarding onsite and the firewood delivery for the firepit. The cabin was clean and inviting. The kitchenette is small but had key basics like a coffee maker, hot plates, griddle, and mini fridge. "Everything was just as described. We like low key, hang at a house, fish, and play table games type places and this was perfect. Felt secluded, but town is close if you need anything and the little section of the lake was so peaceful! Fans were nice outside on the covered porch and the dock/pontoon was good for 4 people to fish off of. Only 1 1/2 hrs from Raleigh, which was a plus since family was coming up from State. GO PACK!"

"There were 8 family members that stayed here as we traveled in for my daughter's wedding. The layout of the house was perfect and very roomy that allowed us to spread out and made getting ready on the wedding day a breeze. Upon arrival, the house was clean for the most part. The front porch could use a good cleaning. The stairs to the basement are very steep and the overhand is low. The first day, someone hit their head going down the stairs. "It was very difficult finding the property no light on, no number on house or mailbox. even people coming to property to repair air conditioner could not find it. we had no air sat night till Monday. we could not get hold owner till Sunday afternoon and eventually hvac repair Monday. temp was over 82n in house. house is nice kitchen, living room porch. bathroom should have grab bar near shower. would've appreciated get some money back because unbearable heat two nites"

Did not use dishwasher but was available. Im not being picky but the ONLY thing I believe it needed was some better pots and pans for cooking but we made do and definately not a deterent from booking again! "Good hotel, very clean and great service. However, because there was a problem with our heater, the management had to move us to another room, which was a little inconvenient but doable. Second room was great! And we had stayed here on our way to our destination so we knew it was a good place to stay on the way back. Would happily recommend it. The restaurant they recommended, Georges, was excellent!"
