"This is a cozy little home in a small town within a nine minute drive of Turkey Run State park, and nine miles from Shades State Park and Rockville ( which has some quaint specialty and antique stores). The host has it well stocked (above and beyond what most VRBO hosts do) with snacks, condiments, and a coffe bar! Stacie was very responsive to all my texts and questions throughout our stay. It suited my sister and I well for our stay."

"We celebrated a birthday in this beautiful place! The hideaway cabin was the perfect size for us and it felt incredibly homey and cozy. The hot tub was perfect and we had an absolute blast. Couldn’t have had a better birthday weekend so close to home! The hosts were incredibly kind and informative and we had privacy and were completely relaxed the entire weekend! "Brian was great at quickly responding to questions. House just as advertised. Very clean. Hot tub and fire pit with wood available but we didn’t use. (May want to add night stand lamps in bedrooms and reading light in living room, as there is mostly just ceiling lights) very close to Bridgeton, primary location of Covered Bridge Festival. "

"We spent most of our time hiking, but this cabin was very nice. It would definitely be good for a family with all the outdoor space, games, etc. Check in and communication were great, and the location to Shades State park can’t be beat. We will definitely stay again if back in this area."

"This property is a real gem and I commend the owners for recognizing the potential and for saving a piece of the community’s history! The quirky-ness makes this a really fun getaway and makes you feel like a kid again! Me and my sister (both 50+) took advantage of the facility each evening of our stay. We played HORSE on the basketball court, played ping pong and air hockey and watched several of the movies provided. It was also just cool to explore the school although a little spooky at times...

"We were so excited to find a 3 bedroom/3 bath near Turkey Run State Park for 3 couples to meet for a fall getaway. This "Barn" home is exceptional. The wide open living area provided space for everyone to enjoy from watching TV, reading a book, or playing a game of pool. We loved hiking and having dinner at the State Park and were excited to find Coxford Covered Bridge, just down the Road from this home. The owners were very easy to work with and the property exceeded our expectations."

"There was no Cable, or WIFI as stated in the listing. There was not running water as stated in the listing. The heating/AC unit was very poor and did not keep the house warm. There was dog hair all over the place, yet the listing stated pet free. There were leaks on the walls with brown streaks running down the walls that had not been tended to. The linens smelled as if they had not been washed. There were dead bugs all over the walls and windows in the bathroom. The bathroom and bedroom windows...
