"House was clean and had everything you needed. It was a great location! Less than 10 minute walk to all the Crystal Mountain shops, golf, restaurants, pool, etc. Great for kids! Had a nice basement with a couch and TV, bedroom with a few beds, and full bathroom. 4 kids slept down there. Overall, it was a great stay and we would come back!"

"The cabin was exactly what we needed for our weekend enjoying northern Michigan. There is a small space heater as the only form of heat. It was colder than normal outside, but the heater and extra blankets made the stay comfortable!"

"This was absolutely perfect for a golf weekend at Crystal. There was room on the property to hang out outside, and inside there was plenty of room for 10 people to comfortably relax after a day of golf. Ed was great answering my questions leading up to the stay, and they had a minor issue after the previous guests checked out and had someone out to fix it that afternoon. "At Red Shutters you fall asleep in front of a roaring fire and wake to deer grazing in the yard. The accommodations are clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with cooking gear and dried spices. The propane stove in the main room was nice when the weather turned colder. It’s lovely to be surrounded by dense woods and just 3 blocks from Lake Michigan and Crystal Lake. A wonderful retreat. "
