"This house was exactly what we were looking for. Lake view, plenty of room and close to the trails. The property manager responded immediately when I arrived and checked in. Was a pleasure to deal with. Everything in the house was brand new. Would recommend this property to my family and closest friends."

"We completely enjoyed staying at this very tastefully remodeled home. The house was very clean, excellent location - near everything. Beds were super comfortable. This host really went the extra mile with extremely comfortable furniture and quality furnishings along with extra touches to make life comfortable and convenient for a weary traveler. "

"From the moment you arrive you know what a special place it is. The pictures do not do it justice...it is one of those situations where the place is actually prettier than the pictures. You will not be disappointed. The hosts are excellent,super friendly and very easy to communicate with. The house is cozy, warm and well equipped, and the location is just amazing. We will definitely go back!"

"John and Rachel have set up a beautiful little oasis for guests. The cabin was warm, cozy, and stocked with everything we could ever need. It felt like home away from home. The snowmobile trail couldn’t have been easier to access and the views from the cabin were stunning. Already looking forward to booking again soon. "

"This was our first time in Aroostook County and we weren’t sure what to expect and now we can’t wait to come back! This house was truly amazing! It had everything that we needed to make our week magical. It was perfect for our dogs and the lake was perfect. The water was great and we loved exploring the different parts of the lake on our paddle board. Cross ride to the Canada boarder, easy to cross into NB and get back. Overall, perfect place for a family vacation."

"Grand Accommodations "

"My Family had a small reunion at Portage Lake. The cabin ended up being the perfect meeting spot. We had dinner there every night. The grill and burners outside were perfect for a clambake and grilling. We sat by the fire pit, with the children fishing, riding bikes and making smores. It was truly one of the most relaxing and enjoyable locations I have ever been. On the Rainy days we played board games, did karoke and laughed alot. Chad and Jana were incredibly hospitable and...

"we stayed here for 4 nights to bird hunt great location! it worked out great for us plenty of room the hosts stopped by when we got there1 never saw them again but i know if we needed something they would have taking care of it just a great few days"

"This property we were really impressed with, very clean and very convenient on everything that it came with. Also heard many places didn’t have AC in places that other family members were staying at. This property had all that and more. Comfortable beds & the layout was perfect. The owners were one message away and quick to respond on any questions. Very polite. DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to anyone. And look forward staying at this place again next time we are in town!"
