"What a striking place to stay. Apparently it was full but we neither heard nor saw any other visitors. An easy walk down into Stornaway for an evening meal and plenty of facilities for our breakfasts in the apartment."

"This is a truly beautiful home in an incredible location. The home is so spacious and is well set up for a very comfortable stay. The setting--literally at the end of the road--offers peace and quiet along with incredible views, and it is fairly central for day trips to the island's sites. "Everyone should put it on there bucket list. The owner was outstanding, very informative and helpful in all aspects of the trip. I would highly recommend the motorhome option on the Hebrides — but only —if people are comfortable driving a large vehicle on some very tiny Scottish roads. The motorhome was great and drove very nicely, and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. The only weak link will be the drive for him or herself. That should be the main factor on whether they rent the...

"This was a nice little house with everything you need. Our contact was very approachable and helpful. There were nice little details such as little flower bouquets which made it even more cosy. There is quite a loud street next to it, but as we used the place to explore the island this was no problem. We'd strongly recommend the accommodation to anyone who looks for a lovely place to stay in Stornoway from which to do trips around Harris and Lewis. We had a wonderful time. Thank you."
