"I loved the living space the apartment was clean ans had all the amenities needed for a closed in weekend. The restaurant and the grounds was good and inexpensive. The only i didnt like was they tired to force us to buy a timeshare"

"We have a group of 6 friends who have been getting together for a long golf weekend in the Shenandoah Valley for 29 years. We discovered the Massanutten Resort for accommodations 8-10 years ago, but the house that we had been renting wasn't available this year. We were delighted to find Dukes Den and even more delighted with the stay. We will certainly try to stay there again next year and would highly recommend it to others (just not our week, lol)!"

"Love the property for everything it was so quiet and relaxing. The house had everything you needed. We did bonfires in the back. The resort itself has so much stuff to do. It was overall a very happy vacation definitely will come back."

"The house was perfect for our extended family. The host provided plenty of kitchen items as well as extra toilet paper, bathroom and kitchen soaps, soap for the dishwasher and washing machine as well as all the linens. We have rented many houses in the past and never had a sharp knife in the kitchen but this one did. The free passes for activities at the resort was an added bonus. Very clean as well as stocked. The only suggestion is for the host to update the binder with current information."

"This is a beautiful property with the most amazing views of the mountains from all sides of the house! It is a great location with close proximity to the JMU campus. We did have trouble with a few of the high end features in the kitchen (gas oven and range) and master bathroom (shower handle). Outdoor areas were a little neglected and could use cleaning. Great property for a short or long stay!!!"

"Perfect house at Massanutten for a small get-together of old friends. There are several fun nearby attractions and good restaurants in the area and Harrisonburg and James Madison University are only a half hour away. If you decide to stay in and not take advantage of the activities offered on the mountain, the house offers a billiards and foosball table, large back yard, large hot tub, large deck perfect for morning coffee, large grill and a nice comfortable area in the basement area to watch...

"We went to Harrisonburg to visit with family for Christmas. The property was located near to the hospital, where one member unfortunately stayed, and close to other family. The unique interior of the home was charming and comfortable. We enjoyed a stay there."

"House exactly as pictured and was amazing. Beautiful resort with deer right in the yard. Driveway is steep but two cars fit in the garage for easy access. Beds were very comfortable but soft."

"We are a family of 6 with 3 preteens and a 7 year old. The house was absolutely perfect! Clean, stocked with everything we needed. There was so much to do in the area that we didn’t have enough time to get to it all in 5 days. Highly recommend the resort and the house!"
