"This property was very clean but dated. We had a good restful time. The old Wigemog Inn is next door. In the thirties it was going place with the likes of Jimmy Dorsey playing there. The rich would come from Toronto to stay the summer. The Inn has been left to rot by its last owner. It looks like a eyesore. As a result investment in upgrading at Haliburton Heights has been put on hold till they get the inn demolished."

"Stayed here for 4 days and didn’t want to go home. Lucky me… I got the master bedroom and let me tell you… breath taking. Also, not sure what type of mattress and bedding but it’s like sleeping on a cloud! Everyone else said their rooms were very comfortable as well. Would definitely go back! "

"Very clean and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. Had a really great time with our friends. Would definitely recommend for a simple and very quiet getaway! Beautiful deck to sit and eat overlooking the pond. The host was very nice and was prompt with her responses for all of the questions we had. Will definitely return!"

"My friends and I were happy to see that the cottage was as advertised - had plenty of space with four clean bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, functional a/c, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised at the extra items we could use, such as extra cooking oil, board games, and large floaties! However, we wished there had been some mention of how pervasive the seaweed is throughout the water for swimming, and that there had been a bit more communication answering our questions about check-in....

"The property is beautiful and the inside looks nice but that’s where the positive ends. Upon arrival at 4:00 we could not enter because there was a cleaner there still cleaning. Upon entry, a half hour later, the floors were soaking wet and slippery. The garbages were not empty in the bathrooms. The bedding was not freshly laundered. "We loved our stay at the cottage! The lake was so peaceful, clear warm water. It was exactly what we were looking for and more! Rustic cottage, water toys, hanging on the dock or the beach, bonfires, fishing, exploring, sunrise paddles. "We were 6 longtime canoers ranging in age from 70 to 80 who are now too old to camp on canoe trips. The Cottage more than met our needs as we ate out and were too tired when we got back from Big East & Kennisis Lakes to use the hot Tub, TV or the BBQ. However, it was good to know that they were there. I did get praise for selecting your cottage so thank you"

"We enjoyed our location for our group Motorcycle ride .The accommodations were great for the 10 people having A/C to cool off end of day was key. But the 1 zone made the downstairs cold -the upstairs cooler. The advertised pool table was unusable -no tips on the sticks."

"Beyond advertised the property was top notch with an incredible view. The house was incredibly clean, hot tub excellent, kitchen well stocked, coffee maker fabulous and natural gas bbq an unexpected surprise. We had a minor issue the first night but it was easily taken care of by the owners who were completely responsive. We'd love to stay again it was quiet, pretty and the stars at night were gorgeous. "
