"This was a very nice an fun place to stay. Everything we needed was right where it needed to be. It was a great place to bring the dog. The walk down to the water got to be a regular routine. The house was clean and the heat works really fast with only subtle adjustments. Just remember to watch your head. There are several low ceiling areas that will bring you to your sense if you disregard them. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. Definitely would stay here again. "

"I was blown away by this property and the property managers. Words don't do it justice. It's adorable, unique, clean, peaceful and there is something enjoyable for everyone of all ages. From the downstairs bookstore just casually available in the living room, the fireplace, to the field of flowers in the back, and the screened in porch, to the refurbished bathtub reading nook. It was a magical place on a magical island and the perfect stay! "

As with most older homes with older furnishings there is always extra mantenance needed over the years (having grown up in a house in Uk that was Elizabethan at one end and Georgian at the other I can attest to that!) "Halfway through the week, my wife turned to me and commented that this was the best week-long trip we had taken as a family. "My family had so much fun in Maine. The house is in a great location. Walking distance to Lincolnville beach, great coffee shop next door, great market next door, close to Camden hills, we hiked Mount Megunticook, shopped in Camden, took the Ferry to Isleboro and spent the day. So much to do in the area. Vivienne was very responsive, friendly and easy to deal with."
