"We loved our stay at Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa. Loved being able to use the spa facilities and the room was modern and cosy with a selection of teas, coffees and shortbread. The hotel is good walking distance into Newquay town and the route via the golf course is lovely. The restaurant offers great views of Fistral Beach. They have a cute photo booth just by the elevator which was a nice touch. Only thing I would say is the heating was whacked up for winter so the room was boiling but luckily...

"We had a one night stay at the Harbour Hotel (St Ives) as a couple in a sea view room. We had a nice stay on the whole. The Spa with swimming pool was a lovely addition that also included a jacuzzi. The settings at the Harbour Hotel was lovely inside and very clean as was the rooms. Reception and the Spa staff approachable if you needed anything at all. "Room was clean and bed comfy. Room was facing the main road, but you couldn't hear the traffic. Only problem was very creaky floorboards and not enough hot water to run a bath. Also would of been nice to have just a residents only bit of bar. The steam bar was always busy and tables full "

"I visited this hotel on business recently and I was surprised how nice it was. They had made a huge effort with the decor going up the stairs and also so really noticed all the Christmas decorations which made it feel extremely festive and seasonal. The staff were very friendly and chatty and were also extremely attentive and professional. Prices of food were on the expensive side however it was of very very good quality.
