"Older resort but has a lot of charm. Because it's older the lobby has that older smell to it when you walk in. Parts could be updated to some of the buildings. We rented an economy room with twin beds and a bunker up top in the Lodge building. The room was clean and cozy with comfortable beds and pillows, bathroom, table and TV with mini fridge and coffee maker and closet with ironing board . The grounds and view were gorgeous. "Such a great hotel especially the price for what u get. My boyfriend and I only stayed one night here. We loved it, we had a full size fridge/freezer a dishwasher, a stovetop and some pots and dishes. The couch pulled out into a bed and u could easily have a family of 4 here and it would be perfect. "The room was way nicer than expected for the price. The room was large, clean, and it had a large tv. Many budget options skimp on the tv size. Everything was clean and worked as expected. I have stayed in rooms double the price that were way worse. Would definitely recommend."

"Great little studio convenient to ski hill and main lodge. Only ate once at the Duck Blind Grille due to its limited hours, but resort was quiet during our Christmas stay."

"with 3 common areas to lounge in and a large kitchen this property is very enjoyable for small groups of friends or family. We were there in colder weather so did not have an opportunity to enjoy the outdoor amenities."

"This cute home was perfect for my business trip to Gaylord. I had to bring my dogs on this trip so the fenced in yard was perfect. The house is larger than it looks and walking distance to several restaurants & breweries. The host was responsive and easy to work with. Only complaint was I wish I would have brought my own pillows. Five stars, would stay again!"

"The Ivy House is so Darling! Very comfortable beds! The host was engaging and helpful and responsive. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We will be recommending this place to our friends and family as we have family in the area! "

"You couldn't ask for a better host than Gene. We had been in Harbor Springs all week and were meeting our son in Gaylord for his last DJ gig of the year. Gene was nice enough to let us check in early. We love the location. We walked everywhere! The snacks were also much appreciated. Thank you, Gene! Can't wait to come back!"

"Great stay. 2 units that can be locked out so 2 baths, 2 small kitchens one unit with two beds and the other with a bed and sofa. Beds comfortable and everything clean. Check in and out easy via message. No complicated departure instructions- they even offered to do the dishes. Great location on Otsego resort. We will be back . Thanks"

"Great property. It fit our needs and was way better than getting two separate 1-star hotel rooms for the same price. A/C was out in one of the rooms, but didn't impact us too much as we were out an about during the day and the nights were cool enough to sleep with windows open. Plus the owner communicated well and set our expectations. Beds were comfortable and the pillows even better. Showers, kitchens and fridges all right size too. Beautiful views from balcony. Thank you!"
