One-Bedroom Apartment in a quaint neighborhood. Only 2 blocks from the beach, you can have a great summer vacation or even a nice walk along the beach in the winter months. 20 minutes from downtown Norfolk, it is a nice quiet area to relax and still enjoy summertime activities. This Apartment can accommodate 2 guests comfortably. Perfect for a couple or even a small family wanting to get away for a few days. Also, there is a shared patio. The patio may be shared with other guests.

Cute interior, but the first impression wasn’t great…needs a lot of TLC to clean green mold and just spruce up the front exterior. I can overlook that if it is a comfortable and clean interior, though. It was clean enough and had a decently stocked kitchen (although we hardly used it). However, it would have been a much better stay if sofa and bed were comfortable. It was very difficult to sit on the sofa without feeling you were going to slide off, and could not relax to watch a little tv or just snuggle….no depth and cushions slanted a bit. The bed was also hard and needed a foam topper or something to make it more comfortable. I know you get what you pay for, but I think a little extra comfort would have made a huge difference, and not cost much to do. A plus was the outdoor patio which was a nice place to sit and drink my morning coffee.

Really nice place for a long weekend stay

The property was very nice, clean and as advertised. It was a nice short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. I would highly recommend.

Great location; but needs work

Apartment is in a great location and has a nice sized stocked kitchen. Apartment needs a deep clean, new rugs, and a cleaner couch. Bedding is also older with uncomfortable mattress. Bathroom is very small, shower had broken tiles and soup stains. Apartment also smelled like a large dog, vents needed to cleaned as well.

Good stay on a budget

We appreciated the back yard for our dog and the location near the beach. There are some maintenance needs and the apartment was not thoroughly cleaned before our stay.

“Perfect Little Shack”

Just me and my boyfriend stayed here for a few days. Everything was good. Anthony the host was great with communication and made everything very easy. Everything is nice and clean. We mainly just went to the beach all day, went out for dinner, and just spent nights there mainly. That’s what a place like this is really meant for. 👍

So much better than a hotel!

I occasionally travel to the VA Beach Area with work. Usually I stay at a hotel, but this time couldn't find one close to my worksite that fit my budget so decided to try VRBO. The apartment is wonderful. Great location. Easy access to the beach, to Newport News, Norfolk, Military Reservation and Fort Story. The booking process was efficient and easy. I brought my dog and it was so much better than trying to navigate him in a hotel. I want to go back and stay just for a short weekend vacation.

BEACH (WAS ACTUALLY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE) HAD FREE PARKING, WAS NOT CROWDED AND VERY CLEAN ... ... CONDO HAD NICE BACKYARD WHERE I COULD SIT WITH MY DOG (GRASSY AREA & PATIO) ... THIS WAS SHARED BY OTHERS AT TIMES ... BUT EVERYTHING WAS SUPER COOL ... MET INTERESTING PEOPLE WHO WERE FRIENDLY AND NICE ... ... I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS LITTLE BUNGALOW TO ANYONE, A SMALL GROUP ... Perfect little getaway

My husband and I came in for a short getaway and this place was perfect for us. The area was quiet and only minutes from anywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was extremely clean and neat and had everything we needed. We will definitely book again.

I felt like the property was misleading on line. I had punched in Chic’s beach.. Found this studio apt. Bnb for a reasonable price. Place was small, which I get, love seat has seen better days and totally needs to be thrown out! It was a shitshow for 2 adults sitting together. Suggest a little TLC on the outside but has a great fenced courtyard with patio furniture. Was not far from the naval base and realized the beach was Ocean View and not a 3 min. Walk to the beach! I realized it was old housing for naval families. However, I must say it was clean and the bed was really comfortable.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay! The house was clean, and the perfect size for two people. The house was in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Walmart was 5 miles away, which was nice for a quick grocery/supplies pick up. Everyone that walked by was friendly. We had a super short walk to the beachfront, and there were minimal people on the beach while we were there. Found a new favorite restaurant to go eat at- Captain Groovy’s. After always staying in VA Beach, this was a very welcome change of pace. Will definitely be back!

Great place for the price

We’ve now stayed in two vrbo’s from this owner and both times we have not been disappointed. This property is right down the road from free parking at the beach which is super convenient and a lot less crowded than staying at Virginia Beach. This property is now our go-to for having a quick vacation where we can relax for the weekend. The place was super clean but we did have to wash the dishes before using them but that did not take away from the trip at all and this is still a 5-Star worthy place to stay! We really enjoyed it!

Great time in Norfolk

My wife and I came up for the weekend. Had a great time. The place is pretty small, but was perfect for just the two of us. Check-in was easy and communication with the owner was great. Decent location.

Clean and simple

Enjoyed this cozy little place - just perfect 2 people - beautiful nice garden in the back - very quiet - highly recommend - kitchen has all you may need - BBQ grill in the back yard - if you are more than rent all 3 units and share the back yard - we will be back -
