Enjoy quiet vacations in the sun with a good cup of coffee and the panoramic view of Hardangervidda, Europe's largest high mountain plateau. Here you can enjoy good meals and the vacation time outside. On colder days you can gather around the large fireplace for board games and good conversation.

The cottage is located in a spectacular hiking area with a variety of marked trails. You can explore the area either on foot or by bike. There are also great opportunities to try your fishing luck in depriving mountain lakes. You can also try canoeing, rafting, river hiking or stand-up paddling in the area. Hikers will surely be attracted by peaks of 1485 m. above sea level. Also, a visit to the beautiful Uvdal Stave Church, Imingfjell or wonderful Langedrag Nature Park with both farm animals and wild animals such as wolves or lynxes is recommended. On rainy days it can fit with a trip to Hallingskarvet swimming pool. Also in winter the surroundings are beautiful and offer activities such as cross-country skiing, skiing, snowboarding, telemarking or sledding. A bus stop with connection to Geilo and Kongsberg is nearby.
