"The Host Ben is very responsive and kind. I wanted to experience living among the Ticos and we loved it. This place is unique and cozy for the 4 of us girls. There are some minor upgrades needed but we are so easygoing that it was not a bother. We survived a huge thunderstorm and no power for just a couple hours. The property has 2 cats. Also each bedroom has air conditioning and we enjoyed Netflix in the evening. This area is definitely a surf town and several restaurants walking distance....

"This place was great. Though Avellanas Beach was a short walk from the property, it felt secluded and remote. I could hear howler monkeys in the trees, which was cool. The house was gated and felt safe and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. I would gladly visit again."

"Great house that’s spacious and has a beautiful view. The only reason it’s not a 5 star location is because it takes about 15 minutes to get to from the main road. However, if you’re looking for a lot of privacy and wildlife, then this is great. This house met all our needs!"

"Larry and Sherry were wonderful hosts! The view from the balcony is truly gorgeous , and the apartment is as listed: spacious bedroom, full kitchen, pullout, couch, and pool. "Now we know why all of the reviews were rated best of the best! We had four families sharing the property with ages ranging from 2 to 68 and everyone had the best time ever. Alex and Jen are the best hosts and their culinary skills are amazing. We had every meal at the villa with the exception of their day off. The property is very much as advertised with plenty of room for our group of 12. One of those trips that no one wanted to leave with guaranties that we will all be back!"
