The space
Ann's Place features LVP floors, relaxing paint colors and lighting, two refreshed bathrooms, and an inviting kitchen/dining combo with breakfast nook that lets in the gorgeous morning light! It features three large bedrooms (King, Queen, Twin/Twin), blackout curtains, sitting chairs, and spacious closets. Two of the bedrooms have smart TVs, and the twin bedroom has a convertible changing table and toy closet. The queen bedroom features a custom hair and makeup vanity area that is perfect for getting ready for weddings or just a night on the town!

In the living room you will find a BenchMaster recliner, queen sleeper sofa, loveseat, and a 50in Smart TV. If you're not in the mood for TV, there is also a den with a mini pool, air hockey and foose ball table to provide endless entertainment, as well as a toy closet with puzzles, stuffed animals and our favorite Dr. Seuss books! There are plenty of card and board games under the coffee bar to be played around the large dining room table, or take some time to yourself in the sitting area with a Book Nook!

The large open kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, basic spices, condiments, and other basic necessities to save some money at the restaurants and make your meals at home. Feel free to help yourself to the snack basket, and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or cocoa from the Keurig. Creamer, sugar, Stevia and Splenda is also available. Consumables are complimentary and used at the guest's discretion. Selection may vary.

There are 2 bathrooms with tub/shower combos and chair height commodes. A potty seat attachment is also available for any littles that may be tagging along and the rear bathroom has a shower chair.

Need to work while you are here? No worries, Ann's Place has you covered with a separate office complete with a desk and rolling desk chair so you can easily connect to the high speed wireless internet and get to it! There is also a comfortable glider and ottoman that is perfect to relax and enjoy a book or cup of coffee by the large picture window.

For those that need it, there is a washer and dryer in the laundry room with detergent and dryer sheets as well as an iron and ironing board.

There is also a sitting area outside under the front porch. We want our guests to be able to enjoy the fresh coastal NC air even if it's raining! Grab a drink and prop your feet up and take some time to relax! Out back you will also find a large covered patio area that is shared with the rear guesthouse. Take a short walk to family friendly Shortway brewing for a drink and cornhole, Cox Family Icecream for an after dinner treat, or a cup of coffee and homemade pastry from Stable Grounds.

Guest access
The house is located on a paved street with private off street parking. It's the perfect neighborhood to take a stroll with the family or even bring your bikes! Entry to the house is easy with the use of a keypad. There is parking for a max of 3 vehicles.

Other things to note
While the unit will sleep a max of 8 people, including toddlers and children, it is best suited for families and not 8 adults. There are only 8 sleeping places (1 king, 1 queen, 2 twin beds, and a pull out sofa). The pull out sofa may not be a comfortable option for adults. Please keep this is in mind when completing your booking.

We highly suggest purchasing travel insurance, especially if booking for the months of May-October as this is peak hurricane season. We do not give refunds for weather related cancelations.

This is a residence, and just like any other or your own, while extremely rare, things out of the hosts control may happen like short and temporary power or internet outages, routine lawn or property maintenance, and since we are in the south and it's humid, despite routine treatment, you may see a bug or two.

We provide a very generous amount of paper products and other consumables. Once these are gone, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional that they will need for their stay.

If you are bringing small children, we have a pack n play, stroller, booster seat, high chair and baby bath in the unit.

There is a separate, detached guest house unit located behind the main house that is also rented as a VRBO (Madeline's Place). The guest house has it's own driveway behind the main house since it is on a corner lot. There is a large carport separating the two that is used as a patio area. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a party house. If you are not willing or able to leave the house in the condition it was found, this is not the place for you. We work hard to keep our properties beautiful and clean. Damage and filth will not be tolerated. There is an active Ring Doorbell at the front door to assist with any entry issues and for security, as well as a Ring camera under the rear carport. Tampering or interfering with internet or security devices may result in immediate cancelation of your stay without refund.

ALSO, we are a pet free accommodation. As a courtesy to our other guests with allergies that book our home for it being pet free, we kindly ask on their behalf that if you need a furry friend to accompany you, please check out the many other pet friendly places in our area!
