Perfect for a short stay!

Exactly as described and great location! We had a nice, quiet stay. Host had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower and blow dryer in the bathroom. There also were beach towels, a beach bag, and beach chairs available to use. The shower itself was quite small but think that is par for the course on the island in general. Would stay again!

Little Gem

I stayed for 4 nights in mid June and another 5 later in the month. Absolutely loved it.. Perfect for solo or a couple. Location is great. Enjoyed a walk around the island morning and evening. Great restaurant next door. Full size fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven. 2 beach chairs, towels and a beach bag. Laundromat is half a block away, as is the water. This unit is above the garage but very quiet. Trick to the shower; twist and pull. Be aware that there is no on-site parking but street parking is easy on weekdays; weekends and holidays limited to 3 hours from 8am-6pm, so plan ahead. Watch street cleaning signs as well. I made that mistake the first night. This is a little gem and a great find. Hope to return!

Perfect spot for traveling solo and not having a car, although the space is definitely big enough for two! Just steps to the ferry and the boardwalk which goes all the way around the island for peaceful morning walks. Property manager was quick to respond when I couldnā€™t figure out how to turn on the shower. Delicious restaurant next door with excellent service that doubles as a coffee shop in the AM. Will definitely stay here again if available.

The location was perfect!! A block to the ferry and to the corner market. Bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed for four nights. Will definitely be back this summer!

Check in was super easy. We were a little worried about the parking, but thereā€™s plenty of it any given time of day! We enjoyed the cute little restaurant Todos Santos for breakfast and it was walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice studio on a quaint island

The location was a bit awkward at first, but once we discovered the alleyway behind the building to the stairs up to our unit, it made dropping off bags and such easier. The studio was nicely appointed. I have difficulty with stairs and the loose railing at the top of the staircase was challenging. They let us check in early and never bothered us during our stay.

This is a great little room on Balboa Island. It reminded me of the Med; storybook sleepy coastal town, mostly quiet w the hustle and bustle of daily life. The location is phenomenal, the linens were good, the bed is comfortable, the host was efficient. I was nervous about street parking and had no problem finding a spot; just paid attention to the signs. Finding the apt is a little tricky, the host gives clear directions, it's easy to access. It's an easy walk to everything, including a small market w essentials and the ferry. Balboa Island is a storybook in Lego Land! There's so much to see walking through the streets and along the coast; it's impressive. Would stay here again for sure!
