"Newberry was our “hub” to visit so many sites in eastern UP. From waterfalls to lighthouses to beaches to historic sites. And even a lingering monarch butterfly that hadn’t migrated south yet. This property is everything it claims to be! A full kitchen; lots of beds; comfortable. No doubt a great place for everyone and their “toys”!"

"Host was very helpful! We had trouble with communication through the VRBO app. VRBO was very helpful and hooked us up with our host who responded very quickly. House was in a comfortable neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had all the basics, nice fire pit out back in a big yard. Would stay again. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay on Nevins Lake at the Nook. Very clean! everything we could need in the kitchen and the bathroom supplied. We were very comfortable, loved the lake, though too cold to get in in November in Michigan. We hope to come back in warmer times and make use of the kayaks! They thought of everything, and were very good to work with, communicate with. We recommend staying here for that much needed quiet break!"

"The place was just like it was described, our group of 17 people fit right in here, activities for the evenings, plenty of space for everyone be it games or chilling in front of the TV. The kitchen, the blackstone, awesome, perfect for the group! We try to move around to different places, but this will be on the list to return. Awesome is all we can say!! "

"We loved the cabin. It was super clean. Great location too. We took day trips all over the UP and it was a good central location to come back to each evening. The wood stove inside was wonderful for curling up with a book and snuggling in a blanket."

"Quite honestly the first vacation that I didn't want to come home from. Walk out the back door, down some steps and you are on a beach equivalent to the Bahamas oBahamas or Florida"

"This quaint cozy cabin was a perfect location for our family to explore Tahquamenon Falls and Pictured Rocks area. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked. "

"This is my go to VRBO in Grand Marais. Always clean and well stocked. Bonus points for pets"

"The location could not have been better. Easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Cute, well-cared for home. If anything, I would have preferred mattress and pillow upgrades. "

"The house was in an ideal location for us. Made traveling back and forth to the wedding venue and reception very easy. The house was ideal for everyone in our party. The few troubles we had the host was very receptive and friendly. Helped us with work arounds for the situation we were having. Would glad stay here again. "

"Very nice home tucked in the woods. Quiet, peaceful, perfect accommodations with everything you would want and need. Short distance from all great rock hunting shorelines and we found amazing yooperlites too. Goals were achieved and being able to come back to this gem of a place was "

"Everything was as expected, location is great. A few flies, ants and mice but thats expected going into winter. A little hard to locate at first, damn gps and service. Owner got us where we needed to be. Great to talk too also. Had an awesome time!"

"We had a set of 4 friends and went sxs riding. This location was great, plenty of room for everyone, 2 bathrooms were a plus, big kitchen with plenty of seating. Plenty of parking for all vehicles/trailers. We were gone from 9am to almost 8pm daily. we didn’t have time to enjoy the outdoor fire pit or other amenities on property. We hope to return for another visot in the near future. This was a typical UP north VRBO with old home charm for GREAT old town. Host was excellent. "
