It was a really poor experience for the price paid -- staff were super friendly, but upon check in I was assigned a room which someone else was inside. After this was resolved, there was no hot water -- and it took me 3 reception visits and 90 minutes of wasted time to get it working -- I was told the pump doesn't work well. The same happened in the morning, so I was late for my meeting. Wifi was also disappointing for a central NYC hotel, getting average 1mb -- I could barely watch YouTube buffer free. Floors were desperately in need of a deep clean, my feet were black - so many random hairs, nail clippings and dirt from previous guests.
If the rate had been 25-30% lower, I would have expected some more of these challenges -- but at this rate it's not acceptable.
