"The Playhouse" New Orleans French Quarter

"The Playhouse" is 2 full bedrooms with 2.5 full bathrooms which are located in each bedroom. The 1100 sq ft condo is equipped with all the amenities to sleep 7 people (3 sofa sleepers) . "The Playhouse" is located near the House of Blues and is walking distance to the Mississippi River, which is great for shopping (Riverwalk Outlet) and is only steps away from the world famous Bourbon Street. The French Market, which offers shopping and the world famous Cafe Du Monde, is a great local spot. The condo has the ambiance of the French Quarter and more! Take advantage of the location and go to a show at the House of Blues, or if you want a truly unique "spiriutal" experience make a reservation for the Gospel Brunch that goes on every Sunday!

In the heart of the French Quarter, and quiet!
Loved the location and the comfort. Spacious living room and 2 of the 3 bedrooms (all we needed). Great open kitchen layout. Would definitely return!

Fabulous time in French Quarter
We came in the day after a hurricane and were switched to another property. The check in was smooth. The unit was wonderful, less than a block from Bourbon Street, clean, quiet and spacious. 5 adults and we each had our own bed. Wonderful!

Great location!
We appreciated the attentive property manager. After a canceled flight and arriving a day late, we checked in with ease. We were upgraded to a property steps from Bourbon street, but far enough away to have peace and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

Easter Weekend - A Pirate Invasion
The property company needed to move our booking to a different property, which ended up even better for our group! My Southern Comfort was wonderful to work with. The amenities of the house were perfect. We were close to all of the planned activities for our group. The house was clean, well decorated, the beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets. Highly recommend!!

Amazing stay
We had a little problem with our original rental and we had to change locations. The management was on top of it and even upgraded our stay. This location and building did not disappoint. The rental had all the amenities and more. It was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely recommend to others.

Great Customer Service
My rating is more for the property management company rather than the property itself. This property ended up not being available due to some needed repairs, but the company moved our booking to another property - an upgrade at the same cost. Which was a wonderful surprise! The property was gorgeous and immaculately clean. We had an amazing trip. Communication was great.

Great location
The location is excellent! Within walking distance to all the bars, restaurants, stores, and Jackson Square. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Our only issue was by mid morning when people started showering the water pressure would decrease substantially. Other then that we had no issues. Would definitely stay there again!

Stayed at Different Property
About a week before we were set to arrive at "The Playhouse", we received a call letting us know that the property was unavailable due to plumbing issues. However, My Southern Comfort had a replacement unit available (the "Atchafalaya") that was nearby and actually had more space for us. They allowed us to use the larger unit (which I imagine typically costs more) and gave us a late checkout for no extra charge. While I cannot speak to the condition of the Playhouse, the property we were in appeared to be well-maintained and clean, and the rental company was easy to work with.

Wonderful condo!
I visited NOLA with my adult children and their partners for Thanksgiving. My directions for checking in were clear and the process was great! The condo looked exactly like the photos and was stylish and comfortable. There is a primary suite at the front of the condo and another suite at the other end with two queen beds. All three couches in the living area were also sleepers. The location on Decatur was very convenient. We had great food around the corner at Mr. Ed’s Oyster Bar. If I had anything negative to say it’s that the condo is above House of Blues. Music, DJ, heavy bass until 2:30 am. We were up having fun so it didn’t bother us - but it was loud. I would book with this company again!

Terrific location, terrific value
The location and spaciousness of this property are exceptional! Huge kitchen, three bathrooms, and plenty of sleeping space. Easy walking to so many attractions and public transportation options. Would have appreciated a bit more cookware and dishes, but others probably aren’t as keen to cook for themselves when staying in the French Quarter, so I totally get it. Comfortable, modern furnishings and interior made this a dream stay. Highly recommended.
