Nice clean house in nice neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay. This is a downstairs unit in a duplex that is well taken care of. The neighborhood is quite but has a few nice restaurants and a good grocery story a few blocks away. It is an easy uber ride to the more touristy areas of town and a right next to the fairgrounds.

Good, although a couple of niggles
Generally a good stay as per the ratings and a good location. The air conditioning unit is outside one of the rear bedrooms and shared with the upstairs apartment. This is noisy and, if the residents upstairs switch it on at night, it's not good for sleeping in the rear rooms. It can also be a bit noisy having upstairs residents generally and we'd look to avoid this in future bookings. Initial access using the key code lock was not problematic, but we did subsequently lock ourselves out twice and had to contact the owner for help to override what we discovered was a separate deadlock we'd inadvertently set when locking ourselves in at night and not realising it had to be checked and reset if needs before leaving - an update to the instructions would help in this respect.

Great location
As former residents of New Orleans we are familiar with the work that goes into maintaining a historic property. This one is beautiful and well maintained. Would highly recommend. Also very clean with good beds.

Love the Neighborhood
This was the first time I used vrbo and was very pleased with the whole process. Total costs and fees were shown upfront. The house was very clean and comfortable. Most important, the beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of excellent towels. I got immediate assistance when I had trouble getting the door open when I arrived. My two sisters and I loved being able to walk to City Park, restaurants and especially loved Swirl, the neighborhood wine shop. A short drive to many other activities the city offers.

The property worked really well for my husband, son and daughter in law. Very spacious, 3 comfortable beds, equipped kitchen. We particularly liked the neighborhood and its proximity to Canseco Grocery, Liuzza's restaurant.

Family Vacation New Orleans Sept 2023
Our family of 4 (grown children) stayed for about a week in Sept 2023. We had a great time and the place was perfect for us. Owners were attentive in a small matter and it was a short drive to French Quarter and other areas we visited. Neighborhood was nice and we waked the area a few mornings. Also had room for us to play games in the dining room or relax in the living room when we were not out enjoying New Orleans. Great stay!

Great Nola week
I needed a place for family and friends close to my own home in mid city. This place was perfect. It’s very comfortable and charming, and is on a pretty street for walking to neighborhood restaurants and City Park. I would definitely rent it again.

Neighborhood Oasis and Perfect Location
I LOVED this home! My friend and I stayed for Jazzfest weekend and it was in the perfect location to walk to the festival. The house was so cute, the street and neighborhood is amazing and great stores and restaurants within walking distance. I plan to stay again!

Lovely stay near New Orleans City Park
Excellent location. House was lovely in a charming New Orleans neighborhood just a few blocks from City Park, street car stops, great restaurants. Easy to get to the French Quarter via street car. We especially enjoyed the 'Blue Bikes' - a city wide bike rental system that is easy to use; just download the Blue Bike app. There are two bike racks near the house. Local market for groceries is only 5 blocks away. The front porch is wonderful for morning coffee and chatting with the neighbors. Communication with owner is excellent! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful home with plenty of room. Incredible location walking distance to City Park, art museum, children's museum, cafes, restaurants. Great host. Plenty of parking, linens provided, netflix, cable, great kitchen, comfy beds. Big dining and living rooms.

Quaint 3 BR in mid city
Places is as-advertised. Comfortable beds and an adequate kitchen for a family with light cooking needs. Very pretty neighborhood with a little bit of walkability to some local restaurants, market, and coffee shop. We did have some cleanliness issues with the property right when we arrived, needing to vacuum the floors and scrub the bathtub, but the owner very graciously refunded our cleaning fee after alerting him, and it seems that this has not been an issue in the past. All in all, a positive stay.

Great stay in The Big Easy
My wife, my daughter and a friend, and I had a great stay on DeSoto. The property is as nice as it looks on VRBO, and then some. Quiet, safe neighborhood with quick and easy access (by car) to the French Quarter, CBD, Warehouse District, City Park, even Uptown. My only regret is not budgeting time to sit on the comfortable front porch and enjoying watching the neighborhood walk by. We will strongly consider staying here again on a future visit to the city.

This wonderful property had a perfect location. The neighborhood is quiet, beautiful and felt safe. The unit was spotless and was very comfortable. The owners were very responsive to our questions and easy to contact. A beautiful historic place to stay in NOLA!
