About this space
Newly renovated and tastefully decorated, our home is a classic New Orleans shotgun style home with an open living space and kitchen. Located just a few minutes away from the French Quarter and CBD in the historic Treme neighborhood, this is the perfect base to enjoy New Orleans with easy access to all that the city has to offer. Our area is also full of wonderful locally owned shops and restaurants so you can truly experience what it's like to live in the big easy!

Uber & Lyft are readily available in the area.

Many great shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

There is ample free street parking along the street.

Not as expected
The address of the property was not properly communicated by check in time. I had to guess the property, which resulted in me trying to enter the wrong home. Thankfully the neighbor was there to assist. Once entered, the place had very little furniture and decor, not like it was presented in the pictures. The bathroom had not been cleaned. I had to do that myself. It appeared as though someone had just recently left and there was no cleanup in between. The internet was out for nearly two days. I reached out to the owner multiple times with no response. I was not satisfied with the property especially for the price I paid.

New Orleans stay
The overall experience here fell short. The host didn’t send check-in or check-out information - I had to contact support to request it, and even then the host didn’t reach out until day of. The phone numbers and the address on the listing were different than those given to me by the host, which was both a little terrifying and very confusing. There was no WiFi information provided prior to arrival - the host mentioned that there was supposed to be a WiFi/cable box on the floor in the living room, but there wasn’t one. She mentioned that things had been moved to the unit next door, and she told me over the phone which network to try, but the information wasn’t correct, so we had to do some sleuthing to figure it out ourselves. The living room had only a couch and the kitchen island had no stools. The listing details coffee maker - the only things in the house were towels, beds, and the couch. There wasn’t hand soap in the bathroom - no shampoo/toiletries of any kind, which was fine because we packed own. There was dish soap, but no plates of any kind, no cutlery, and no napkins/paper towels, and the faucet is leaky in the kitchen. I inquired about the plates and cutlery, but the host never responded to my messages after that. She seemed to prefer phone call which wasn’t convenient. The floor was gritty with dirt. The front door didn’t seem secure. There’s more but I’m out of space.Host asked if her real estate agent could stop in during our stay - but said we could say no.

Beautiful Spot
This rental matches the beauty of NOLA! The property is beautifully modernly decorated and clean. The property is a decent size for 2 people or 2 couples. The neighborhood is quiet and not too far from the street cars to get downtown with ease and we were also able to park out front. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property.

Comfortable and clean
Recently renovated two-bedroom was ideal for me and a friend over jazz fest weekend. Everything in the unit is new. comfortable beds and couches, deck in the back yard, clean kitchen and bathroom. Easy Uber to French Quarter and walk/bike to fairgrounds. Thanks for a great visit!

Great place in a good location
This place is renovated and clean with nice furniture. The host is super nice and fairly responsive but does not provide a lot of information. The bedrooms have great beds, but nothing else - no bedside tables, dressers etc. For my stay, this place was perfect.

Beautifully renovated Chic style place!
This place is modern and was perfect for our stay in New Orleans. Located near City Park and not far driving distance from the tourist scenery. The host includes everything you need for a home away from home. They were also very responsive during our time of need. There is street parking. Overall this is great place to stay away from all the french quarter activity, but still close or a romantic stay with nearby fun as well. I would stay again and recommend this place for leisure or Business.

Had an amazing visit. As a native with family not living in NOLA anymore this felt like home. The little rest I got during Mardi Gras I got in the most comfortable beds. Lovely kitchen area and a great bathroom. I’d definitely stay here on a return trip. Nothing bad to say and can’t suggest enough to other travelers

Clean place that is well decorated. Centrally located- between 1 and 2 miles from everything we wanted to do. Lots of bus stops near by so getting places was super easy

Perfect Long Weekend Stay for Essence Fest 2023!
Very hospitable, clean, nice water pressure (and plenty of hot water), very comfortable beds, and the owner was responsive in the event we needed something. Very spacious place, cute deck out back, great location and close proximity (10 mins or less) to the Convention Center & the Superdome. I would definitely book this space again if it’s available the next time I visit. Thank you Tanya for a pleasant stay!

Just what we needed!
