New & Romantic Couples Cabin with hot tub & fire pit near Athens & Hocking Hills

Beautiful, clean, great location, hot tub, fire pit, grill, large porches and excellent WIFI!
A tastefully decorated new Swedish-inspired build with 16 foot high ceilings, an open floor plan, large covered porches, fire pit and a private new hot tub. Inside find a beautiful living space consisting of locally-sourced oak and knotty pine walls, hickory flooring, cherry cabinets and lots of windows overlooking a vast forest. Enjoy colorful sunrises and sunsets from this hill top cabin that overlooks 91 acres of private woods.
There is fabulous hiking on our property's trails (find fairies in our whirly twirly fairy trail, get lost in the maze of confusion and hike the settler's grave yard). This property is adjacent to Waterloo Wildlife Area (2300 acres) and Zaleski State forest surrounds it. Explore the area (Lake Hope's Old Hollow Cave and Pioneer Cemetery trail is amazing). This property is in a great location between to a hip college town (Athens) and amazing Hocking Hills region.

Perfect cabin getaway!
A cozy retreat in the woods that was a perfect way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Close enough to small towns and Hocking Hills for things to do, but remote enough to feel private and enjoy quiet evenings under the stars. My fiance and I stayed here over the long weekend to attend the Southern Ohio Forest Rally. The cabin was perfectly located for quick trips into McArthur to watch the races. I enjoyed the spacious patio to do some writing while my fiance enjoyed the nearby mountain biking trails. The modern amenities of this property were clean, luxurious, and really felt like that "glamping" experience. The hot tub was an incredible addition. My only regret was that our stay wasn't longer! We would both highly recommend this cabin and would love to come back some day.

A Wonderful Cabin
What a beautiful cabin perfectly located in the woods surrounded by nature! The open floor plan and tall ceilings with multiple windows allowed us to take it all in. Many birds to listen to out on the deck while rocking in the chair. The jacuzzi and fireplace were a nice added touch. A few minute drive on some winding country roads took us to Hocking Hills and other beautiful landscapes. Fantastic!

Much better than glamping!
This cabin is a great getaway for couples or a small family. Everything was very comfortable and well taken care of. Instructions and messages were clear and handy. We loved using the hot tub and fire pit. Whether you want to hike, sit with a book or stare at the fire, you'll have a great time!

Just as described
The owners were extremely responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The house looks exactly like the pictures and is very clean. It has every comfort of home. The location was remote but close to towns and restaurants. We enjoyed the properties trails for our doggies. We will be back.

Great retreat!
Sister and I rented this place for a college swim meet. Beautiful home. Looks like great hiking, and many ideas are shared by the owners. Bad weather kept us from hiking. Loved having 2 bedrooms. Highly recommend!

Anniversary Weekend
The house was amazing! Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with anything you need to cook. Our dog loved the trails that were right in the backyard. It’s only a short drive to a great little grocery store (Seaman’s). We also drove to Larry’s Dawg House which was very good. It was a great place to spend our Anniversary, we can’t wait to be back next year!

Absolutely loved our stay!! So peaceful and absolutely beautiful!! Loved the backyard trail! Property had plenty of amenities for our needs! Definitely will return again for a longer stay. Beautiful Place
The place is beautiful! We loved the walking trail on the property. Our stay was in the winter when the trees were all bare. It am sure it would beautiful in the spring, summer and fall. Nice location and close to Lake Hope State Park, Z forest, Hocking Hills, and Athens. We took advantage of the hot tub but did not use the fire pit because it was to cold outside for us at night. We would love to return with the rest of our family to take advantage of the beautiful sites around the area.
