Lovely Cabin Trip!
This gorgeous little cabin was absolutely perfect for our short getaway! It's a quick (and lovely) drive to Shenandoah National Park and other attractions (highly recommend Old Hill Cider close by). Would absolutely stay here again. PS - Keep an eye out for the local deer...they are not afraid of people!

Lovely Remote Getaway
We enjoyed this remote stay near New Market. We used it as our base station for hikes at Shenandoah and local historic battlefield visits. The hot tub was a nice bonus after a long day of hiking.

Great Communication / Cute Cottage in the Woods
We had a very pleasant stay at Rusty's Retreat. It's a great place to relax for a few days with a small family or group and the family dog. The hot tub and outdoor firepit were particularly fun. When we had questions, host Tony always answered very promptly. Thanks again!

Family Cabin Trip
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Rustyā€™s! Beautiful area, gorgeous view, great location & even better local events/things to do. We swapped our annual beach camping trip this year for the cabin & I think this will be our new annual trip! The owners were amazing, communicative & helpful with any of my questions! Roads will test you but it felt like living in Germany again-loved it!

Cute space well maintained and relaxing. Thoughtful touches like toothbrushes, an extra lighter, bottle of wine. The hot tub was so nice during the chilly nights. AllTrails got us to Yellow Cliff Mtn overlook which was a great day hike nearby. Thank you Rusty's for a sweet birthday retreat away from the DC chaos. Not a complaint but tip for sensitive skin folks- glad we brought our own sheets and an extra towel from home as I'm allergic to scented detergents.

Perfect Getaway!
We came to hike the Shenandoah and explore nearby caverns, and this place did not disappoint! The weather didnā€™t cooperate so we didnā€™t get to test out most of the outdoor amenities, however enjoyed the cozy home and games that were supplied. A short drive into town to get anything needed, this was just what was needed! Thanks again!

Great Stay
The house was cute, clean, and well stocked. I had an issue with the keurig and the owner was nice enough to bring over a brand new coffee maker. Itā€™s very secluded. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful and thoughtful property
My husband, our two-yo, and I stayed at this property for three days while we explore the Shenandoah National Park and nearby areas. We found the house incredibly well decorated and very clean. One thing as a non-pet owner that I didnā€™t realize is that this is a pet friendly house, which translates to a lot of pet fur everywhere (even with rigorous cleaning, the fur never fully goes away, that I do know). This was a bit challenging for us to deal with, but still just a minor inconvenience, and completely out of our own negligence/ignorance. The house is on the small side, especially the rooms - we barely fit our inflatable toddler bed in the space between the bed and the closet. It has pretty much everything we need, and the host was very thoughtful. All in all, the house is very comfortable - even our toddler doesnā€™t want to leave after two nights! The hosts were very communicative before our stay, but I never needed to contact them during our stay because everything went well.

The place was as advertised. Clean, quiet, secluded and beautiful. I had high expectations and was still blown away by the beauty of the location. The house itself is immaculate and comfortable. Had everything I needed for the weekend in the kitchen and then some. Property manager was very helpful and professional. Answered all of my questions quickly. I'm sure I'll be back and have already reccomended this place to lots of people!

Itā€™s so cozy! Perfect place for a long weekend get away (or extended stay) to enjoy the peace of being in the mountains. House was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. About a 45 minute drive to the nearest NP entrance but lots of nice views in town and a scenic drive made it a great spot.
