"The current staff has been the nicest. We stay here at least twice a year. It would've been 5 star if they could finally get rid of the roaches. I will say we only saw 5 in a weeks time but that's still a lot. While I'm not at all comfortable with the bugs, It's better than the two other hotels next to it though who are raided with them yet cost $20 more a night. I feel like this hotel is in better condition than it was the last 2 years. "

"Overall stay was nice and rental was unique and clean and we loved the country feel. Very lovely home. Disappointed that the refrigerator and freezer did not work all during our stay and we lost some groceries that we ended up having to throw out. It was inconvenient that we had to keep getting ice to keep in the freezer to keep some things cool like an ice chest, but we compromised. Thought the owner would have compensated us something for the inconvenience, but he totally stopped replying...

"We had such a nice little vacation here! The house is beautiful and well appointed—Patti even decorated it lavishly for Mardi Gras. We loved the location because we could go off in all directions to find things to do and fabulous restaurants. Only one tiny suggestion: the beautiful bathtub is very slippery and dangerous for getting out—it could use a nonslip pad or strips and something to grab when exiting the bath. Patti was attentive to our every need, just the best host ever!"
