Welcome to Pinewood Cottage, a cozy, 2 bedroom home in downtown New Buffalo with a spacious backyard, firepit, and jacuzzi tub all within walking distance of Lake Michigan beaches, shopping, coffee, ice cream parlors, and restaurants. Perfect for small families, we have childrens toys, books, games so everyone can have a great time.

The home has been decorated with a charming beach vibe, giving you the best of the Third Coast (Lake Michigan). The home opens to a combination living / dining area with a smart TV and a small workspace in case you need to take the office with you on your getaway. There is a gas fireplace that will be open for use in the cooler months of the year (October to March generally, please ask us if you are coming just outside of that time frame and want to cozy up near the fire). 

There are a couple new additions that really add to the fun. There is a really fun play area in the basement now with kid's toys, multiple armchairs, a sectional couch, train sets, and a play teepee for kids. There is also a loft in the living area upstairs that has two beanbag chairs and is a fun place for the little ones to sneak away and read or play a hand held game.

Moving farther into the home you'll find the eat-in kitchen where the charming cottage decor continues. Off the back of the home is access to the backyard with a deck, gas grill, and fire pit. 

Off the living room in the main part of the home are the two bedrooms for the home. The master bedroom features a Queen bed, ensuite half bathroom, and a jacuzzi bathtub. The main bathroom for the home is situated between the two bedrooms. The second bedroom sleeps up to three guests with a queen bed and a twin bed. There is a washer and dryer in the lower level of the home, accessed by the cellar stairs near the kitchen.

The New Buffalo Public Beach is only 7/10 of a mile away, so you can easily walk to the beach and enjoy the sand and surf. We have beach chairs, for adults and children, a beach table, beach toys and beach towels for you to bring to the beach (just make sure you bring them back please)!
