Great place to stay

We stayed at Rustic Lake Cabins for a quick family getaway!! It was very peaceful, quiet and relaxing!! We enjoyed sā€™mores at the firepit. Also enjoyed the scenery with lots of different wildlife. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Loved our stay and the time away. It was great having space and not having too close of neighbors. The 2 houses was perfect for our 2 families vacationing together. It was close to everything we needed yet far enough away to be able to relax.

Winter Family Vacation

My family and I came here to celebrate my daughterā€™s birthday, and to get a little downtime before the holidays. The house and grounds are great! It was clean with plenty to do and I especially loved the added Christmas decorations. The house was well stocked and cute and cozy. The handheld shower in the closet tub took a bit of getting used to but we managed to fine. Itā€™s close to a lot of fun hill country adventures and there is a state park a half a mile away. Anna was great to work with and friendly. I would highly recommend this location!

Great location, Ample outdoor room

The property is located closer to Canyon Lake than any other property we found. Indoors were nice and mostly as described. There is a multitude of outdoor seating areas and grilling area and pets would love this place. The cooling inside was way better than the listing suggests. Outdoors are so nicely wooded that we were able to spend a lot of time outside on an otherwise hot summer evening and saw deer and some interesting reptiles we spent a lot of time watching. The hot tub button did not work and eventually talked to the manager and was guided to the controls that got things working. The access key could use some more detailed instructions on which one to use (there were two keying areas on each entry) and it needed multiple tries to get unlocked since it was sensitive to the timing (the manager helped over the phone). Overall, our group of 3 families and dog had an amazing time at this property. This has nothing to do with the property but we meant to go to Paddle Canyon Lake but the lot filled up fast and were diverted to the main Canyon Lake Beach area which was a less than ideal beach.

Perfect Spacious Getaway

Cozy Vacation Rental

Great property! We stayed so we could be close to the venue for our daughterā€™s wedding. There was ample room for the bridesmaids to stay with us. The home is very rustic and quaint. also very close to the lake so we spent the rest of the weekend on the water relaxing.

Great fun

This is an adorable cabin. The two cabins are perfect, clean and comfortable. The property is fabulous. We especially loved the porch swings. It was too hot for the hot tub and the fire pit, but we loved sitting outside at night looking at the stars. We saw deer, foxes, and armadillo. It was perfect!!

Quiet rustic getaway for our family vacay

The two cabins were perfect for our family vacay with our three adult children, their partners and our three grandchildren; perfect for our activities on Canyon Lake, Comal river and Schlitterbahn New Braunfels. Very nice cabin

This cabin is absolutely adorable, clean, and well-maintained. There are two flat screen TVs, lots of books, and plenty of board games. The yard is huge and there is a fenced ā€œdog runā€ that is as large as any public dog park. We were disappointed to find out the day before we checked in that the hot tub was broken. That was a major reason we rented this property. Once we got over that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Our group is a group of people who became friends back in the early 80ā€™s while attending college

We met at Grambling State University and have remained friends for over 35 years. This weekend was designed for us to relax and get away from our professions and hectic schedules. We certainly picked the right place and property to do so. This place is spectacular and soooooo serene. Annette was a gem to me prior to our arrival and all the way through our check out day. I highly recommend this place for any occasion!
