Little cabin on the farm
We loved our stay at the cabin! Beautifully decorated inside and out. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Check in was super easy. Not too far from town. Will be staying here again while seeing our son while he is at MWI. from town

Clean, cozy and quiet. Worked well for 3 adults and one 12 yr old. Nice appliances and decor. Only suggestion is tables are needed for the bed.

Beautiful Property!
We enjoyed our stay at the property. Comfortable beds, great AC unit, ceiling fans, & dehumidifiers kept indoor temps very comfortable as well! Decent kitchen set-up.

Nice place to stay. Very neat & clean. The kitchen was missing a few amenities such as paper plates & a few coffee pods for the Keurig. But, there was a regular coffee maker if you wanted a full pot. Paper plates are needed due to melamine being the only type of dinnerware available. Melamine is not microwaveable. Plenty of towels for a shower. We would recommend The Cabin.

Annual Golf Tournament
Couldn't have been any better. Easy in, easy out; quiet location, yet close enough to town to get anything forgotten/needed. Friends going to re-book for reunions and other events. Will do again next year and beyond.

Quaint, clean, easy access, beautiful
Had to bring our daughter from WI to her first year at college. Location was easy access to town and campus. Wish we had more time to enjoy the fire pit. Everything was perfect about this stay. Owner had great communication and loved that everything was up to date and perfect for a tech savvy person. The sunrise and sunsets were phenomenal with the open country land. Enjoyed just porch sitting and listening to nature. We will without a doubt be back and highly recommend.

Great Place
Very beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the sounds of nature. We got to watch a pair of geese doing their mating ritual. The bathroom could get a bit tricky with 5 women trying to use but we managed very well. Thank you so much. We will definitely consider for our next reunion gathering. Susan Robison

Great Place To Stay For Hunters
Me and 3 of my buddies came down here for a weekend to do some duck hunting at Four Rivers. It was a great place to come back to after hunting and relax and have a hot shower. Cabin was exceptionally clean and Wes had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back next year.

It is very beautiful cabin! Was very clean. It is pretty small though. Stayed with my husband and 2 kids. We were comfortable but not sure many more would have been. It lacked personal touches and has little seating. Overall good stay.

Highly Recommend
Our family wanted to get away for the weekend and had a very relaxing and fun time. The cabin is well taken care of, comfortable and clean. The kids loved playing basketball and fishing in the pond. Our whole family spent hours around the campfire talking, laughing and playing games. It was just the weekend we needed! We look forward to coming back in the future!

Gorgeous property, relaxing fun for family
The Cabin was great. Very clean and the updates were attractive and looked well done. The pond was a lot of fun and we had a great time paddle boarding and checking out the fish. Kitchen was reasonably stocked, and the grill and appliances all worked very well, which made cooking meals for the 3 of us very convenience and simple. Loved the cows in the pasture next door. Easy driving to Prairie State Park for hiking. Only issue was that we didn't realize how busy the road the house sits on was. The doors and windows insulate the house from pretty much every sound, but we would have liked less car noise while sitting by the fire pit. Overall 9.5/10, would recommend and loved our stay.

Great family get away
Great place ! Our family of 5 loved staying at The Cabin. We fished everyday and relaxed for a week. Quick day trips down to Springfield when we felt like doing something otherwise we just enjoyed our time at the cabin.

Pretty but not what we expected
We had never been to Nevada so this was our first time. The cabin itself was very nice. The kitchen and bathroom was great. But it wasn’t really a cabin. It was like a little house in the middle of farmland. So just wasn’t a lot of places to explore in nature if that’s what you’re wanting. We were excited about the fishing and knew it would be an extra cost but trying to reserve it with property manager was difficult. They did not respond to emails or calls and only responded to text once we were on the property. It was very awkward because then they ended up coming to the property to get cash for the fishing poles and opened up the fishing closet. It just was very uncomfortable. We’re in the middle of nowhere and a person we don’t know knocks on the door and felt like he was about to walk in. The property is beautifully taken care of and sitting out by the fire pit was the best part! Fishing was fun too even though we didn’t catch anything it was just a fun being out there. Probably won’t stay here again just bc of our experience with the property manager.
