"The layout of this house is PERFECT for a large group, especially of varying ages, with bedrooms on one side and common areas on the other. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare large group meals. And the living room was so cozy and welcoming for our winter weekend getaway. The lake access was perfect for ice fishing and I’d imagine even better for summer swimming fun. "

"Our stay at the cabin was absolutely wonderful. Owners were pleasant to work with, and check-in was very smooth. The cabin is definitely unique, with all the comforts of home. Plenty of room, with games and books to keep us occupied. Beds were very comfortable and the nature surrounding the cabin was very peaceful. It was the perfect get-away for a Girl's weekend. "

"Susan was prompt in responding to me. The location was good for us to get to the trails for biking and hiking. Close to where our granddaughter lives and goes to school. The house had everything we needed. Nice to sit outside in backyard. The train didn’t bother us. My husband never heard it. "

"Anthony was a very gracious host, and the house/property/amenities were above and beyond other VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. We had a very cozy stay in the middle of winter, and it was a treat to wake up to a sunrise over the frozen lake in the morning. I would definitely recommend a stay here, and we hope to come back someday to enjoy the kayaks."

"Beautiful location! Love the Towering Pines and the Wonderful Lake - so clear, like looking at an Aquarium. The cottage was perfect - just the right size for us and visiting family. Enjoyed mornings on cute porch looking unto lake. We had awesome mid-September weather! The Paddle boards were fun. Super location - close to Chain and The Wheelhouse. Thanks for sharing another GREAT property with us and our dog, Hazel. We made wonderful new memories!"

"Cozy stay in the woods, with private access to the little lake. Fire place, hot tub, brought our dog with. Our family had a great time!Overall great stay. Close to anything you might need.However, there was no disclaimer at the time of our booking, that the living quarters and what not are all 2nd story, and require a lot of steps up and down. It was just fine for our family, but may be difficult for older folks. "

"The house was very clean, and the screened in porch was our favorite place to hang out. The inside is definitely rustic, and I might suggest they invest in numerous upgrades. For example, air conditioning, and dryer needs to be fixed (which the owner did mention). The lack of air conditioning made the house very musty. The drains in a couple of the bathrooms were not draining adequately. The lack of lighting led to a spooky atmosphere, especially in the lower level. It definitely had room to...
