Medieval alleys with numerous half-timbered buildings invite you to stroll. Hikes in the surrounding Odenwald and Kraichgau to nightlife in Heidelberg's old town, everything is possible. The forest is on the doorstep, the Neckarsteig leads over the Dilsberg from Heidelberg to Bad Wimpfen. Hiking trails lead to the castles to Neckarsteinach (Odenwald Nature Park), to Neckargemünd's old town, to Heidelberg Castle and to the Königstuhl. The very good S-Bahn / bus connection (bus stop directly in front of the fortress) invites you to excursions to Heidelberg, Mannheim and the wider Neckar Valley.
