Oak Ridge Log Cabin
Opened in Summer 2016, Oak Ridge Log Cabin is a quick little drive from downtown Nashville, but tucked away in its wooded hillside setting. Sized to accommodate your big family group, the cabin boasts five bedrooms and three baths, so load ‘em all up and bring ‘em along for a family vacay in Brown County. There’s even room enough for the mother-in-law!
THIS IS NOT A PET FRIENDLY CABIN
Parking your car behind the cabin brings you into the main level of the cabin, and into the spacious kitchen, dining, and living room area. Here’s where the scene of action will be for the crowd, as everyone works together to make family meals to share at the large dining table.
A big flat-screen TV/DVD player provides indoor recreational opportunities when your favorite team’s game is on, or you’ve brought all the Star Wars DVDs for a movie marathon weekend. The covered porch spanning the entire length of Oak Ridge Log Cabin is accessible from the living area… what fun to gather there to see the sun come up!
The main floor has a big bathroom with a tub for bathing in bubbles, plus a separate shower, and is shared by the two bedrooms on this level. You can then ascend the staircase to the master bedroom with a private bath. One main floor bedroom has a queen size bed, while the other bedroom and the loft bedroom both offer king beds for sleepy guests after the sun goes down.
Make your way downstairs to the walk-out basement level to enjoy the family game room, all furnished with a pool table, an air hockey table, and another 48-inch flat-screen TV and DVD player…so let the games begin! Parents will likely appreciate that kids can have their own space down here, and two more bedrooms allow plenty of space for them to do so. One bedroom has a king bed, while the second one has a set of bunk beds. There’s a bathroom here with shower only, as well, for all to share. Additionally, there’s access to the lower level porch, the campfire pit and the hot tub.
