"If you don't want the noise, hustle and bustle of the city, stay at Borahead Lodge. A peaceful, quiet cottage only minutes from dining, groceries and Dublin. It's a short drive (40 minutes) from Dublin airport. 20 minute drive to the Red Cow park and ride Luas station so you don't have to fight Dublin downtown traffic. Bridie (our friendly host) gave great advice about the area and shared pears from her orchard. If we're ever back in Ireland, we will be staying here."

"Beautiful property and lovely host! The only thing wrong was that we only stayed two nights. Would have loved to have taken the baking class offered. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and unwind this is the place! And the breakfast was incredible! "

"We just spent ten days in this rental and were very pleased with all of the amenities as well as the location and quietness of the neighborhood. Great spot, close to pubs and other activities and away from the hustle and bustle of big city life. We would definitely rent again!"

"This property has beautiful country views in a quiet surrounding. It also has easy access to the motorway. It is spacious, modern and comfortable furniture. Our host was very helpful"

Good central location for tourist attractions. Good Central heating. Very limited channels on TV. Good big dining room for family meals seating 8 people. "Excellent accueil, riche de précisions et de conseils de balades. Location agréable mais quelques efforts à faire pour rendre douche et salle de bain plus efficaces. Vaisselle un peu limitée. Très belle région idéale pour les promenades à vélo tranquilles."

"Place was quiet and secluded. My phone has practically 0 service and WiFi only worked for me outside. For 2 of us visiting the area for golf and stretch the Euro, it was perfect. We did run into some minor issues but didn’t get any response from Sykes management. Bathroom light stopped working during middle of our trip but we didn’t know how to get a hold of anyone and vrbo messaging didn’t work. They provide washer but there was no laundry detergent. There was fire place but couldn’t find...

"Nice hotel for an overnight stay. Good buffet breakfast in morning with gluten free items available. "The lobby is very impressive, even extravagant, handsome decor and furnishings throughout. It felt like we overpaid for our room, as it was way at the back of the property, in an older building and right above the noisy service and loading area. But convenient."

"Beautiful peaceful old style hotel with a modern twist. Staff are efficient and extremely helpful. Have to mention receptionist Kate. What a beautiful young woman. she was pleasant, kind, nothing was too much fir her. She will make an excellent manager one day. All the staff were lovely. Also duty Manager Cormac who sorted out a few little issues we had without fuss. This was my second time staying at Killashee and return again"
