"This was the absolute most perfect stay for myself and two daughters as we were visiting a friend in the area. it is a short walk across the street (literally like a minute) to the private-access lake, which was quiet and serene. "We loved our short stay here. The house is beautiful and really well decorated. The picture windows overlooking the lake were the best part. We have 3 kids and preferred staying on this inlet of the lake over the main lake. The water was calm and the kids could kayak and paddle boat easily. We had two families of ducks that would swim nearby. The house had everything we could need to cook our own meals. And we really enjoyed the fire pit and s’mores in the evening.We loved our stay! "

"We had a great vacation on Jaybird Pond, swimming, kayaking, hiking and making family memories. Renters should know that the property does not have running water or electricity. The property managers help you figure out how to boil the pond water and use the propane lamps. If you’re willing to rough it, you can’t beat the experience of having your own pond. "
