Nothing went right!
From check in to check out we struggled. We have stayed here 4 times before. Ownership and management (if you call it that) has changed and it showed (painfully so).
We received a code but were NOT told about a key card. We arrived at 9pm, couldn't get into our room and couldn't reach anyone. We stood in the hall for 15 minutes until finally a guy walked up who didn't speak English. He let us in BUT it was NOT the efficiency we booked! He got someone on the phone who spoke English and she told us they would switch rooms tomorrow. The only power outlet that worked was in the tiny bathroom. I had to plug the coffee maker in the bathroom to make coffee.
Next day nobody at the desk, nobody answered the phone. We waited 10 minutes and someone wandered in finally. They moved us to a room with no AC. We told them right away and they just turned it down to 61. Yep it froze up overnight. We woke to a warm room with water on the floor. That morning we discovered someone had rammed our parked car overnight. When the sheriff asked if there was surveillance in the parking lot we laughed. We moved to a third room but the TV remote didn't work (stuck on Animal Planet). New batteries and another visit from the guy who doesn't speak English with no solution. After online search we got the remote to at least change the channels.
We were here a week for Thanksgiving and the $50 pp meal was cooked by the front desk gal filling in (chef left). Wow. Until something changes do NOT stay here!
